I make blankets too mainly out of fleece, Sherpa and minky and I’ve learned to pin, pin, pin. This especially true when I’m making a blanket that has fleece on one side and Sherpa on the other. Both fabrics have quite a bit of stretch to them. I use the long flower head quilting pins and I love them. Thanks for showing us your technique.
ooooh sherpa, that's gotta be soffffftttt haha. I don't think one can pin enough haha. I actually thought about getting longer pins, I may have to try those! Of course! thank you again for hanging out on my channel! I appreciate it!
Can you please do more of these tutorials you do not know what a godsend this video is All of the other ones I have to watch the captions and I don't feel like I've learned anything and for the first time I've watched a video where foam has been used and it's not those big huge roles of foam that cost a lot of money It looks like Kraft foam sheets from Michaels and you were so great with your explanations and things and I hope that you will do more videos like this.. I wanted to make a bunch of giant flowers with a styrofoam ball center or a plastic container center using the pouring spout as the bottom and the way to attach a stem, and just put them on painted tree branches because I didn't have any PVC pipe or anything like that. Lastly, is it possible that you could do a video of these giant flowers made with cardstock and / or tissue paper as well? I'm interested in making the giant ones that span 30 + inches.. lol. My apologies for such a long comment, but this video was such a big help I look forward to others like this
Those turned out cute! They look so nice and soft! I have not made a lovey yet but those are cute! Designs by JuJu has neat ones you can make on the embroidery machine I plan to try sometime!
The batch number on the tags? I create mine using the date along with letters that go with the type of blanket. Then write it on the tag with a fabric pen. I have yet to come up with a better way that works for myself. haha
