I want to work for Rick Owens. I could make/buy him coffee, make appointments or just stand there and nod to whatever he says and does... The women's show was already great but this is just fantastic and out of words.
I find this show overwhelmingly moving. The louder and faster it gets, the more delicate and vulnerable the person and the clothing. And tragically, you have chance after chance to meet and connect with your doppelgänger, your “other,” your self, and you miss the opportunity, again and again and again. The pressures of the world-it’s excruciating noise and increasing speed-make it impossible. It’s not dissimilar in form and theme to Beckett’s “Quad I” and “Quad II.” He would have loved it.
Just goes to show that ppl will buy into anything if they think it elevates them beyond their puny human status. Kudo's to you Rick Owens for pulling off the ultimate fashion grift and making buckets of money.
I have known LeeAnet Noble since she was a tap dancer at Knock on Wood. Then came Stomp, Drumstruck and the Rick Owens at Rick Owens Spring 2014 Womenswear Paris. Lately, as things inevitably evolve, I have played accordion behind her along with a violinist. www.whoaint.com in a Klezmer type rendition of Fiddler on the Roof theme "If I Were a Rich Man". Also our usual "Poinciana" inspired by Ahmad Jamal. Likely the first time (and maybe last!) that anybody has danced to an accordion at Studio 54 (Below)!
Are they waering the same clothes all the time ? Same boys, same shoes, same clothes ? But well, the show is an art peice. The clothes ... i don't know, they seem to be the opposite.

Would be really cool if there were some plus sized models too like in the women runway
no, lose weight. this isn’t for you
Ew why
They did it with SS14 I think?
Band is very cool/weird. Band members are hot in their singlets. Fashion models? Meh.
The musicians are more handsome than the models. beautiful legs.

The clothes are very cool but damn that band takes away from everything it's so out of place
Fuck no. It's a huge 👎 from me.
That was a mess.
