- As many of you know, I imported this thing from France, and came a lot quicker than I was expecting!
This is the only Simon to never see a North American (US) release, and that’s still a mystery we’ll never have the answer to.
This version, as you saw, has a six button layout, and is the only Simon to do so, and that makes it more unique.
It was also marketed as Super Copycat in a few selecte regions, and that version talks, whereas Super Simon (2003) is just sounds.
This is a very rare and bizarre take on the game of Simon.
I had specified the circa, as this is a completely different Super Simon, especially compared to the 1979 Super Simon, which boasts eight buttons, mostly for multiplayer modes.
I’m still trying to figure this one out during my down time, but I know how a Simon game typically operates, which is why I stuck with just the main game.
As I said in the description, this is the only Simon to not see a North American release, which is very bizarre.
I do believe there’s also a cyan colored variant, but that’s just an aesthetic difference, from what I’ve been told.
It was also released as Super Copycat in a few regions, and, if memory serves m that one spoke.
This one does not speak.
This is, again, probably the most interestingly bizarre take on Simon, and, I’ll tell you this, finding one isn’t easy.
You’ll also notice I did several run attempts.
This I’d primarily because this game has different sound designs for the tones, of which I believe there are only two.
Either way, thank you, Paden McDonald, if you’re reading this comment, as you helped me find this obscure piece of Simon history.
Thanks.
I’m still getting used to this Simon in particular.
Thanks again for the help finding this game for me, too.
Much appreciated!
Super copycat was released and made from 1988 1998 it was also a game from tiger electronics this one is from Milton Bradley
Is it made by Hasbro or Milton Bradley? Because I found it on Amazon, but I’m not sure if it’s the right brand.
I’m trying to remember.
Hey sir bop a lot what happened to your eye I'm just curious
just got one of these today. there are loads of them on sale here.... mine is pristine and went for 10€.
You really do need the instructions though, otherwise it's down to luck getting through the menus and i to the actual games
This game is so cool😂
There was a game by tiger electronics called super copycat which was released and made from 1988 1998 this beaded this game super copycat beat super Simon Cuz super copycat was released years earlier versus this one was released in 2002 the other game was already out when this one was released
Do more tiger games
😢You Lose 4:10😅
No, I did that with all of the demo videos in that series, becqyif I did fully fledged gameplay videos, they’d get old and go on for way too long. Haha
Hey sir bop a lot what happened to your eye I'm just curious
It’s still up in the air, and not even my mom knows, but, supposedly my abusive dad shook me when I was first born, causing me to lose vision completely in my left eye.
