I bought napkins like that at thrift stores and I use them instead of using paper towels. I think it’s a great deal. I love watching you. I am so glad you got the tea pot ! I love it❤❤❤❤❤
HI Sarah I really enjoyed the Trip to the Thrift & Dollar Store ! You got some amazing deals on the Curtains & The pretty Tea Pot!! I loved the Yellow Flowers to . Have a great Weekend & will see you Tuesday! God bless you..🌻🌻🌻🌻
@rhondarogers1946 Thank you very much! I'm glad to hear you're enjoying shopping with me! Between the thrift store, habitat for humanity and the dump, I have been blessed with much needed items, and many desired items. I'm excited for the flowery teapot, the yellow flowers remind me of childhood dresses. I hope you have a wonderful weekend, too, and God bless you! See you on Tuesday for the next video!
@barbarahudson4727 Thank you! The thrift store had many fun items and I'm so glad to get the teapot. It makes me feel like a "fancy lady". Vintage items are my favorite because it can last a lifetime. Thank you for watching!
Happy Friday! I enjoyed seeing your finds from the thrift store - that teapot was a real bargain! I can’t wait to see what you do with the curtains. Your meals look delicious and so colorful. Stay warm and have a super weekend! ❤🍁
@tamsenbrodin5819 Happy Friday to you, too! I'm glad you are enjoying the thrift store haul and yes the teapot was a bargain! Curtains are something I find to be good to switch out and decorate with, it's nice to have options. I enjoy preparing plates that are pretty to look at. The colors are wonderful to lift my spirit and it definitely helps me stay the course with health goals! I hope your weekend is fantastic!
@deettarichardson3682 Oh thank you! I'm so glad to get the curtain variety and the teapot just makes me happy. It's pretty to look at. I'm a believer that a little salt and pepper go a long way to bring out flavor. Even in salads! I hope you like the pepper and it's a nice "add on" to your meal!
@jomoore2510 Thank you for watching! The teapot has a new home with me and I will take good care of it. I feel fancy! I'm glad you are enjoying my vlog, thank you!
I enjoy changing out my small kitchen window curtains. nice to have something pretty as I wash dishes. My friend in Sweden works at a thrift store and sends me doilies.
@twartist1411 Awww that's neat to get Swedish doilies! Yes, I agree having pretty curtains to look out the window is really nice. Fabric and color have a way of making life better, I love using it to decorate with!
@tinaengle8989 Thank you, Tink! Wow that's a lot of money for deviled eggs. It is insane pricing! I'm so glad to have the food pantry. Before, I ate a lot of instant oatmeal and instant grits. Not complaining but it has made a huge difference in my life to get fruits and veggies. I feel better eating salads!
@@CareFreeLivingChannelI don't mean to say anything negative, it's just a worry about another human being. Do you manage to put away anything at all? Food pantries may not last long. Things are not what they used to be. Funny, I made roasted salmon for dinner tonight and had it with the same brand salad. No cheese, just didn't feel like it. A small side of farm grown mashed potatoes.
@janedow5366 Oh yes indeed! I am allowed to get non-perishable items as well and do put them up, some for now, some for later. I definitely save food for a "rainy day" because one day it will rain! The food pantry has gotten much more traffic than when I first applied. To continue using it, I must re-apply once a year. They determine the guidelines and there could come a time when I no longer qualify for it. I try to make the best of it while I have access to it because it's not guaranteed. My goal is to have a fully stocked pantry for 1 year. I feel like I have a lot of food, but in this era, it seems one cannot have too much. That is funny that we made the same meal! I do have some frozen "potatoes gratin" in the freezer!

@janedow5366 I'm definitely nowhere near 1 ton of food. However, I do have more food now than I have had in past years. Hi Sarah! 👋🏻 I, for one, LOVE your videos. ❤️ They are fun to watch and you have a calming personality. 😀 Wow! Did you ever score at the thrift store! I really like the teapot. Did you get a camera person to help you out? They’re doing a great job. You’re not alone-my refrigerator is 30 years old (!) and it freezes things that end up stuck in the back so I have to be careful. I’m having a nice visit with my son-he’s out to dinner tonight with his grandparents. You’re cold and we’re windy and warm. My sinuses are going nuts! Have a fabulous weekend…see you on Tuesday. 👋🏻😀
@judygriffing1276 Hi Judy! Awww thank you! I enjoy making these videos. I like the teapot, too, it feels very fancy! My better half helped film the salad which really helps to free up my hands. Sometimes recording and cooking is a big challenge so I love the help! Keep that refrigerator, 30 years and still working, they don't make them better than that brand new today! You have a gem eventhough it freezes things that should not be frozen! My mini-fridge reminds me "eat the salads" or we shall freeze them! I'm glad your visit is going so well, that is wonderful! This weather is strange, I have to wear layers because it might be warm one minute and too cold the next. I feel for you with the sinuses. Weather changes can really impact that; although local honey seems to help with allergies and the whole ears-nose-throat connection. I hope your weekend is great, too, Judy!
