Hey guys, I worked at WB promoting the show back in the original run, and I was also one of the "regular SAG extras" for the school scenes playing one of the teachers in the ER style hallway scenes. I hung out mainly with David (and kept in contact with David's dad Vince for a time) and studio teacher Lucas when I was on set, much to the chagrin of the other extras. It was a blessing and a curse for Rob Roda to know me by name. Just wanted to say hey and I miss you guys! So happy to be following this podcast and videos. Being on set was one of my favorite memories I have of my time there at WB. Keep up the great work!

Love this so much!! Not me, as a German, at back then 15 or 16, learning the anthem, won't back down and when the saints go marchin in just from you guys on the show. I was PUMPED I already knew it all when he had it in 10th or 11th grade in English class😂😂😂❤ thanks for that
I really wish they would change the format of this pod. They should go through each episode. Rewatch it and talk about it. Thats what other cast members do when they talk about their shows. Cast commentary and discussion of each episode. Thats what all the fans want.
I didn’t have great examples of parents in my life. My family in general was awful. I got married at 18 and had my daughter the same year. I had 4 kids by 23. When people ask me how I raised such great kids and have been married for 26 yrs I always say Jesus and 7th heaven. I recorded (on vhs) all the episodes. When my kids were growing up I would have them watch it. But I watched everyday when they used to be shown. I took so much from the show. My kids make jokes about it. And younger people make fun of it but it was one of the best shows. It was wholesome but not judgy. It was about the family and being friends with each other as well. It showed that siblings can be best friends and parents don’t have to be the enemy. Most importantly it taught forgiveness. Also it showed that parents only want the best for you. They give consequences as there should be because they love you. I had a schedule for my kids that I learned from the show. I learned so much. And my kids are thriving. I always got compliments on them from cashiers, waitresses, teachers and even now their professors and bosses. My husband and I compromised on our youngest middle name became he is an orioles fan and they play at Camden yards (he wanted the name cal Ripken) and I love the Camdens so his name is Noah Camden.
Mack’s singing the Tom Petty song was for the soldier she was writing to. And I will always remember that because that was the start of my love for Tom Petty music

I honestly don’t think I can get bored from the podcast. I was 5 when the show ended and I didn’t watch the show till 2012, so it was still “new” to being old if that makes sense, and ever since I first watched 7th Heaven, I’ve been wanting a reboot or reunion. It’s harder though. Most reboots I bet don’t even get accepted, and so the ones we do see, they last 2-5 seasons and they’re done. Shows don’t run as long as they used to (which is why I think that’s why a lot of shows like Grey’s Anatomy are still running because they don’t wanna end something so nostalgic because it’s incredibly hard to get back)
I wanna hear Beverley talk about playing a loose version of herself on Hollywood Darlings along with Christine Lakin and Jodie Sweetin. I'd also love to hear David's thoughts on appearing on Criminal Minds as an unsub spree killer.
I understandstand the episode with Lucy went through death of a friend in the car accident. Even though it was last year, but I visited my friend Mike and stayed with and his Dad, and freak accident, and friend died in front of me and Dad was rushed hospital, but died 32 days later. I still feel it today.

I think 7th Heaven worked better in the 90s and early 2000s but maybe some kind of 7th heaven Christmss movie or just a special bonus episode one that has Mary Matt and Simon in it since they were not in season 11.
I think it would be nice to see the show come back. I think people would be interested. There's things i am sure people would want to know. Like if lucy and kevin moved? If tbone and ruthie are still together? What are the Camden's up to?

So I’ve been watching reruns on Amazon prime, and in the middle of season 5 during Mary’s breakdown, prime said I needed to pay. So then I was thinking ‘ok cool, so now that I’m paying, at least the cast gets some money’. Then I did research and found out that perhaps that’s not the case. That streamers take all the money, not the actors. So I’d love to know what’s true and what’s not
