Oh my gosh!!! Love this!! Gianni! Brad! A baby Dylan! Morgan! All the coaches on Cheetahs! Every performance we were there! ❤❤Everyone we know and love during my daughter’s years at CA! Her entire life was at CA and Spirit! Now she’s a coach! Love this video much! ❤❤ Adding: ohmygosh that hard mat was brutal! I also remember Panthers being the first team ever to field Full Team Full Twists & they did them from back to front of the mat! Again we were there seeing it at the gym during practice as well. So many iconic amazing memories this video brought up! ❤ Sad add to my above comments was all the drama and bitterness and hurt feelings over how CA formed Super Cats. Not a good decision making moment for the gym. The aftermath hit them hard
Routines I remember 20+ years later and haven’t seen since. Tigers 2002 “take a picture” moment was so good! And their jump sequence to Who Do You Think You Are! I still mock jumps with that in my head at my big age all these years later. Even as a spirit girl, everyone was seeing how many years Jags could keep going. Wildcats footloose! They just looked like they were having the best time in that dance. Bring back longer dances! Yes I know it’s impractical bc of the way the scoresheet is, but still! Although I went into this fully thinking that Panthers/Super 2005 would be the overall #1 and they were just honorable. I remember that being THE routine to see that season. But Wildcats 2006 is definitely worthy! I’m just gonna say one word: Tye!! I love these amazing trips down memory lane! Thanks so much for being a cheer historian! Also, I am going to NCA this weekend !!!
