Of course, you are obviously his one of the great fans. "He is the best" and it is your opinion and of course AR Rehman is extremely talented, no doubt about that. But, for me it is Rahul Dev Burman (a.k.a RD burman a.k.a) Pancham. Now, I don't have to try to prove why I worship his music. For me, there can never be another Pancham. Period.

Magic of AR Rahman and program participants (singers, flute players everyone were all incredible). I am supposed to go to bed and sleep. In my last 45 years this is the best musical program. Thank you to RUclips and all program participants.
All 4 females selected by public and coming through tough competition here happen to be Bengali girls with music in their cultural DNA inherently…with voices made in heaven and variety of range with honey - how amazing that these girls coming from ordinary backgrounds prove to become extraordinary talent repeatedly ❤hats off to their parents who nurture music regardless of their own daily grind in their hard lives 🙏

Sir A. R. Rahman has remained the same since the first time I saw him, which must have been two or three decades ago. For this episode, Papa Shivam's performance stands out the most. To me, he made those songs his own, just like Pawandeep Rajan used to do in most of his performances in the previous season of Indian Idol.
I love AR Rehmans songs in all his movies especially Roza. And Papa Shivam is a dancer and entertainer. He has a dance for all.

There are many Rahman Ji's underrated songs... Like Kissa hum likhenge, Ae Nazanee suno na, Premika ne Prem se, etc ... Many many more .. they should try singing these.
One of the finest set of singers in an Indian Idol season. While all of them did justice to A R Rehman's evergreen compositions, some were absolutely stand out performances. Shivam did a fabulous job backing up Bidipta in "Kehna hi kya". He really knew how to precisely fade out his voice to ensure Bidipta's soaring vocals shone.
