Actually…. They did have a rebirth, but… they weren’t twins. Riliane (rin) was born as Rin Miroku, while Allen (Len) born as kokutan-Douji.
Rin remembers Allen and is determined to find him, thanks to the miroirs, but Kokutan-Douji forgot, and he just remember that he needs to find someone (riliane) but he doesn’t know who. At the end, Rin died getting killed by a tailor called Kayo Sudou, and Kokutan executed Kayo
