  • OK guys today I’m going to attempt to show you one of the ways that I do material test for the LaserPecker 4 using the LaserPecker design studio I’ve had a number of people ask questions about how I’m creating portraits on metal business cards even though in most cases, the settings are going to be the same and those will be somewhere around 70%p 15%d one pass. hopefully this video will be helpful to someone who’s just getting started and may have still some questions that have been unanswered in the future. If you have questions feel free to follow me on Amazon. I am live on Amazon five days a week and I would be more than happy to demo and answer your questions so you can follow along.

    How to:
    1. Power On: Start by powering on the LaserPecker 4, ensuring it’s connected to a stable power source.
    2. Connect to Device: Pair your LaserPecker 4 with a compatible device, such as a smartphone or computer, using the provided connection method.
    3. Load Material: Place the material you want to test on the LaserPecker 4’s working area, ensuring it’s properly secured to prevent movement during the test.
    4. Adjust Focus: Use the LaserPecker 4’s focus adjustment feature to ensure the laser is focused correctly on the material surface. This step is crucial for precise engraving or cutting.
    5. Select Material Test: Navigate through the LaserPecker 4’s interface or app to access the material testing feature. Choose the appropriate material from the available options.
    6. Set Parameters: Configure laser parameters such as power, speed, and resolution based on the material you’re testing. Refer to the LaserPecker 4 manual or guidelines for recommended settings.
    7. Preview/Test Run: Before starting the actual test, run a preview or test engraving to ensure the laser behaves as expected and the material responds well. Make any necessary adjustments.
    8. Start the Test: Once satisfied with the settings and preview, initiate the material test on the LaserPecker 4. Monitor the process closely to ensure the laser is operating smoothly.
    9. Inspect Results: After the test is complete, carefully examine the engraved or cut pattern on the material. Check for accuracy, depth, and overall quality. If adjustments are needed, repeat the process with refined settings.
    10. Power Off: Turn off the LaserPecker 4 and disconnect it from the device. Safely remove the tested material from the working area.
Note: Always follow safety precautions outlined in the LaserPecker 4 manual and wear appropriate protective gear, such as safety glasses, when operating the laser.
