So glad I found your site. You are by far the best educator on this topic. Thank you!
Beautiful editing, the tree lesson is very helpful. Thanks.
Thanks Dave! Another wonderful edit!
Thanks Dave! As previously mentioned, how you achieved the mask separation of the tree and sky was a great tip!
Happiness is TK Friday. Thanks Dave!!!
Re the edit on the tree was great Dave, as was the whole tutorial as usual. I have a lot of issues with masks as I mainly photograph wildlife and feathers along with fur are often challenging, so I will be trying this for sure.. I always look forward to TK Friday!
Thanks Dave. The way you selected the tree was a new trick for me. Very cool.
Another tremendous tutorial. The workaround for the tree selection is priceless.
Another great learning experience watching that video Dave so thanks very much . As others have already said the separation of the tree from the sky mask was superb.
Another masterful edit. I loved how you corrected your tree and sky issue with the dodge and burn tools. I have had that same problem on a number of occasions. Have a great weekend.
Yet another great video.Thanks!
Hi Dave, a lot of thankx for this fresh ideas and hints about TK9. This time the masking of the tree and successful isolation from the sky. Very well. 👍
This dodging the mask were some steps you showed with TK8 too, when I remember it right, and now it's in this TK season. I took that to isolate the whole tree too and saved and adjusted it as a motif.
Cheers and a calm Sunday. Daniel, Berlin.
Dave, I really enjoyed the initial way you separated the foreground and sky channels...learned a new trick. Thanks.
In my view Dave the manner you achieve separation on the tree as part of masking the sky is quite clever and effective. Well done!
Hey Dave, in my opinion, this is one of your best edits! Thank you.
Thanks for the wonderful edit, Dave, and for demonstrating new ways to use TK9. Using Edit Selection to refine the sky makes perfect sense, but it takes an inquisitive mind, like yours, to put the pieces together and show how easy it can be.
Thanks dave, learning lots cant thank you enough for putting out these videos every week. My images are starting to look really professional with all you great tips and tricks in Tk9. Regards andrew.
Thanks, Dave! Another best edit) Is it possible to do a lesson on genre photo processing? With people or animals. With close-up images
As others have commented, the burning and dodging of the sky mask was brilliant. I did two things a bit different on my edit. First, in the ACR edit I added the vignette in the effects panel. That eliminated the separate vignette layer. Secondly, I slightly brightened and saturated the yellow grasses which really seemed to help.
I love it !!
Dave, how about processing some wildlife photos? Or landscapes with wildlife.
Thanks for what you do. This may look more interesting and abstracted as a Black and White.
Thanks Dave for another great video. I have a request about an unrelated topic for using reverse clarity and dehaze to enhance mist and fog. I'm sure you have covered this in the past but I am unable to find the right video. I would appreciate it if you can point me to it.
I can’t remember the video but I am sure I did it. If I find it I will link it to this comment.
Thank you Dave. The TK panel is so complex and your knowledge is very deep. I am thinking about getting TK to enhance my landscape pix. I am lost looking a the various option on the panel. Where do I go to learn about just the basics of what all the buttons mean? Thanks.
There is a button by button video series by Sean Bagshaw of TK9
@@ytuberization Thank you for the info. Will look him up.
Thanks
Thanks!
Thanks for the Super Thanks Bruce.
I’m an old guy attempting to learn photoshop. Should i start right from the beginning using TK9?
Hi Dave just a question. Is there a way to select the tree and adjust just the colour balance of the full tree?.
You can select the tree with the Object selection tool and refine it by clicking the Edit Selection button in the MultiMask Panel, like I did in the video. Next click on the load selection button to load your refined selection and then use the Color Grading Tool or color balance adjustment layer for the color balance adjustment (the selection will get added as a mask on the layer).
@@thejoyofeditingwithdavekelly thanks Dave that works well.
Hi excellent video on1 photo raw 24 will give you better masking and a lot easier
