This scrumptious little nugget is Sweetpea. Just a little while ago her breeder (she is a cavapoo) reached out because Sweetpea has suddenly started to decline. She has tried everything in her arsenal to help this little baby, but is hitting a wall, and she thinks that we are her best chance 🤞🏻
Sweetpea has always been the runt, but her siblings are now 2 pounds and she is barely moving the scale at 6 ounces, just recently dropping a half an ounce in one day. We don’t know what’s wrong with her but, we will certainly give her our all.
Sweetpea we are very excited to meet you, your bed is already made and we have a volunteer on her way to get you. We are very grateful to your Breeder for being a follower and supporter of our work, for reaching out to get you the help that will hopefully get you through this, and let you start to thrive, and for the very generous donation that she just sent to ensure that you have everything you need… You’re a lucky little girl, my love.

I fought hard to save my failure to thrive pup last summer. Nearly lost her about 9 times. She is also very tiny. Had aspirational pneumonia at 9 1/2 weeks weight .9 oz as a ShihTzu. She didn’t learn to nurse until 6 months later. Now almost 10 months and weighs 2# .3 oz. Feisty, as I needed to teach her to bark to 1812 overature to get deep breaths during breathing treatments. She is with me always. I love her so. Teeth finally came in, still hard to maintain body temp. Wonderful little miracle girl. I’m so glad yours made it 8:18

Fell in love with SweetPea at first sight. Everything her about was so precious . Am so glad her caregiver never gave up on this beauty. Just listening and watching her foster mum give SweetPea so much care and love made my heart full of joy.
