I still love distilled water. Try looking at what is accumulated when distilling bottled, tap, well, municipality, etc water. And The volume of how much that does it accumulate is amazing.

When distilling. It’s interesting to see how you can make jars of green in the municipality water. And you can make jars of white in the well water . And how you can see both in bottled water. Try it. I honestly could make jars of mud from any one of these water sources.

According to their website they do filter, here i copied and paste it here: Do Black Berkey® water filters remove microplastics?
A distinction must be made between plastics that dissolve in water and pose a health hazard and those in the form of tiny solid elements.
In the first group, and among the health-hazardous plastics that can dissolve in water, the most common are bisphenol A (BPA) and 1,1-dichloroethane (11-DCA). Good news, Black Berkey® filters allow for the removal of both of these plastics.
In addition, thanks to the filtration power that can operate in the 24 to 26 nanometer range, micro-plastics in the form of solid residues are also removed. In fact, these measure approximately 2.5 microns (2500 nanometers), much larger than the 24 nanometers of the filter

About 10+ years ago my family switched from drinking bottled water from plastic bottles to a reverse osmosis filtering system and stopped using plastic for everything (like storing and warming up food) and suddenly a bunch of my menstrual cycle problems and cysts all just got better and went away. It was seriously the best we’ve ever done for our family’s health! Now we’ve moved out to the country and have natural spring water and we filter that too and grow our vegetables and herbs and have cut out most medication (except my husband’s occasional OTC medicine use) I’ve mostly transitioned us to herbal extracts, capsules and tinctures. Our health has been very much improved! Now we get little aches and pains from working hard outside. Haha. Worth it. 👍🏻

We do not use plastic water bottles for any consumable water supply, thank goodness! Our biggest most obvious problem is that our water company, that we are legally obligated to use, monthly poisons the water with so much chloramine it makes our animals vomit if they drink it unfiltered, and it causes us to experience severe reflux. The odor fills our home when I wash dishes or do a load of laundry. How can that not be absolutely toxic???

Until they are held responsible ( that's a lot of people and businesses) and forced to change. Probably not. It's sad. However, I feel that if people took a stand and OR stopped buying things, as large groups or communities they may pay more attention. Hmmm 🤔🤔🤔 great question, I wonder as well.

That is very true. Another thing is that fluoride is also in our foods as well; it's really the highest in wine or anything with grapes, including raisins. It's really high in pickles or anything with cucumbers. Even fluoride is very high in black tea and coffee. Green tea has not as much. Pork is higher in fluoride than beef and chicken.

The odor you smell is likely CHLORAMINE, instead of chlorine. Many water suppliers and cities now use chloramine because it is less expensive and lasts longer, much longer. Chloramine does NOT break down by simply allowing the water to sit out and off gas. It takes extended periods of heat and aeration, or filtration with a Catalytic Carbon filter to remove chloramine. A regular "activated carbon" filter will not remove chloramine or its byproducts. It takes Catalytic Carbon filtration, which thankfully is finally becoming more readily available.

A great big thank you to Doug for keeping us informed! In 2013 I was informed that chlorine was no longer being used in our water systems. Instead they have changed to chloramine. Chloramine is a combination of chlorine and ammonia. This is very unstable and changes molecular structure over the first few days it is added and becomes close in comparison to rocket fuel. Chlorine will dissipate if water is put in a bucket overnight, chloramine will not. Many people develop upper respiratory issues, rashes, immune deficiencies and other health issues from chloramine use. I used to find lots of information about this but now I only find misinformation that supports or denies. In fact, I made posters with information about chloramine and handed them out in my community at meetings my friends and I were holding to inform everyone in 2013. Sadly, there was very little interest in knowing what is being put in our water.

"How many times have you seen cases of water sitting outside the store getting hot?" You got that right! A few years ago I walked down the water bottle isle at the local grocer and an entire pallet was sitting in the middle of the aisle. When I touched a multi-pack, it was SO HOT! I never knew this to be a 'thing' until that moment. My first thought was, "Woah, how many particles of microplastics have dissolved into this HOT water?!" I kept walking and decided maybe bottled water wasn't such a good idea after all. We hardly use it but on occasion anyway. Now I'm hearing it's also in municipality water. I do have an RO filter but am not sure if it would remove microplastics.

I know someone who nearly died from an "immune system change" (the doctor's diagnosis). The person themselves believe it was from their well water containing arsenic. Their skin literally sloughed off, they had to take humongous doses of Prednisone and spent months in the hospital.

@@UnderHisWings0322 Personally, I live on city tap. I have a fridge that makes water and ice. The fridge has a water filtration system that you change every six months. That's all I do. Why? I don't see a way around some 'contamination'. It can't be forgotten that even a filter's material could eventually be understood to cause harm when used consistently (charcoal, mesh fibers, gravel, etc.). I trust in God.

What I find odd is they only attack the water bottles. Yet we hear nothing about the fruit drinks or the soda pop and plastic containers. how about the plastic wrapped around our food? That's about the same as when they ban the straw but not the plastic lid or the plastic cup or styrofoam cups.

Let's get Real! We either be- lieve God's word, or we don't. If we love & trust the Lord, One day we may have to drink water out of a bar ditch & it won't hurt us! Praise The Lord! My hope is in the God who made us for Himself & made a way for us to live with Him For Ever! Even if I lose my life for Loving Jesus Christ,, His word says that "those who endure to the end, will be Saved, Will Reign with Christ & be Young For Ever!"
