- Unsound doctrinal teaching, unhealthy church culture, and the lack of Biblical literacy is a dangerous cocktail. It's why so many Christ followers are stagnant and recycling the first year of their faith but calling it spiritual maturity.

This message tought me I'm still a baby at this and I was growing, but I wasn't growing and I have no idea what to do at this point I wish I had a local church and someone that could help me grow the way I need to because God is the thing i have left in my life that keeps me going not able to grow it break my heart because I have not been obedient and I want to do and be better, so thank you for opening up my eyes 😭😭😭 I really need help and there no who is willing to help I'm going to bed 😢😞 thank you for everything

This was so so good! Glory be to God for this ministry. I have a question. I have been a believer and a follower of Jesus since I was a little girl. (I'm 44 now) At the time I was baptized, I was not educated on anything that was just taught. Does this mean that I am still a "beginning follower?"
It's a good chance that you may be. But please don't allow that to discourage you or cause shame. With just a few tweaks, you can experience accelerated growth because you're familiar with your faith in a lot of ways. But at the end of this series, I will produce and provide assessments for us all to be able to self assess so we can determine where we are, and what we need to do to get to the next phase of our growth.
