This movie has some major plot holes and cheese to it sure, but far and away the best Ninja movie from the era. When you watch some of the others they look like they had 200 dollar budgets and were directed by children. On many levels this was well made with a great soundtrack and some good cinematography

Freakin' awesome movie! From the beginning, the golf course assassination and ninja vs. police showdown is freakin' epic. You know what's funny know that I think of it? I used to live in Salt Lake City, UT where Revenge of the Ninja was filmed. Now I live in Phoenix, AZ where Ninja 3 was filmed, hahaha
I know during the final showdown that the police arrived along with the girl and Kane so when they went inside I'm pretty sure Sho had to answer a lot of questions from the police about what happened and being an honest man Sho gave them a good response as he most likely told them it was Braden behind all the killings and because of his skills in martial arts especially ninjitsu Sho was the only one who could stop him and I'm sure if that detective asked him why he didn't come to the police he would have given the same response he gave his friend 'Only a Ninja can stop a Ninja' and also 'I didn't want to endanger your men Captain as it would have gotten them all killed'.
Love that part of it within ninja when tried to pickpocketed the door while the man caught the ninja n then ninja threw star weapon n balls , however the man fell down with his head that strikes w star weapon on his face, somehow the ninja looked at the man, my image is when ninja looked at man s face n then laughed.. u know what I’m talking about.. lol
Movies like these led me to believe ninjas were undefeatable fighters with godlike skills. Until one joined the early UFC and got smashed by a low level kickboxer. This is a very good movie though
To OP. Real ninjas have been gone for centuries and there are very few who actually practice ninjutsu today. Those who do don't teach the skills except to a few selected people who mostly are picked to maintain the knowledge of it. Certainly not to go into some competition with it. What you believed based on a *movie* was wrong. What you believe today based on just some single match in UFC is also wrong. And it's quite a bit of a stretch to call this a "very good movie". A cult classic perhaps.
You know I thing I had always wondered about this movie was what happened at the beginning of the movie if Braden was responsible for the deaths of Sho's entire family minus his son Kane as we all now know Braden did whatever he could to convince Sho to come to America so killing Sho's family might have done it to convince him as Sho wanted to make sure his son grew up and before learning of Braden's betrayal Sho and his son were quite happy at they're new life in the U.S.
I know no one asked me a damm thing, but if anyone was to afk me - i would have to say in my own personal Opinion, um yah ok - this has to be quite possibly one of the, or the best Ninja movie ever... 👊👊👊👊👊👊👊👊👊👊👊👊
@ohsevenone Actually they existed. Professional soldier's specializing in assassinations and reconnaissance. They were originally samurai's that stop following "Bushido" way of life a more traditional and stricter form of warrior belief system. They went towards more unconventional warrior methods with no rules unlike the samurai who lived by a very strict Honor code. There are still a few direct descendants in Japan coming from a family or clan that carried on and passed the ninjitsu training and philosophy to the next generation, not for assassination purposes but to preserve the martial arts of it.

I know during the final showdown that the police arrived along with the girl and Kane so when they went inside I'm pretty sure Sho had to answer a lot of questions from the police about what happened and being an honest man Sho gave them a good response as he most likely told them it was Braden behind all the killings and because of his skills in martial arts especially ninjitsu Sho was the only one who could stop him and I'm sure if that detective asked him why he didn't come to the police he would have given the same response he gave his friend 'Only a Ninja can stop a Ninja' and also 'I didn't want to endanger your men Captain as it would have gotten them all killed'.
That is a total Bad Ass!

Movies like these led me to believe ninjas were undefeatable fighters with godlike skills. Until one joined the early UFC and got smashed by a low level kickboxer. This is a very good movie though

To OP. Real ninjas have been gone for centuries and there are very few who actually practice ninjutsu today. Those who do don't teach the skills except to a few selected people who mostly are picked to maintain the knowledge of it. Certainly not to go into some competition with it.
What you believed based on a *movie* was wrong.
What you believe today based on just some single match in UFC is also wrong.
And it's quite a bit of a stretch to call this a "very good movie". A cult classic perhaps.

You know I thing I had always wondered about this movie was what happened at the beginning of the movie if Braden was responsible for the deaths of Sho's entire family minus his son Kane as we all now know Braden did whatever he could to convince Sho to come to America so killing Sho's family might have done it to convince him as Sho wanted to make sure his son grew up and before learning of Braden's betrayal Sho and his son were quite happy at they're new life in the U.S.

@ohsevenone Actually they existed. Professional soldier's specializing in assassinations and reconnaissance. They were originally samurai's that stop following "Bushido" way of life a more traditional and stricter form of warrior belief system. They went towards more unconventional warrior methods with no rules unlike the samurai who lived by a very strict Honor code. There are still a few direct descendants in Japan coming from a family or clan that carried on and passed the ninjitsu training and philosophy to the next generation, not for assassination purposes but to preserve the martial arts of it.
