For everyone having trouble with the tutorial, the minute 1:44 is the key for the warp step to work. Click that little asterisk in the lower right on the Paths box.
Something didn't translate for me. I did everything exactly as you said, however once I clicked transform > warp all it changed was the selection frame, not the image itself. I did make sure to have the top layer selected, so I'm not sure what went wrong.
@@lrbproductions524 Feel ya, following the same steps and everything with no results but already found the problem. You gotta click that small asterisk in the Paths box he mentions in minute 1:44 for the warp to work properly. But yes, he goes so freaking fast it gives the impression that step is optional or not.
Thank you for making this remarkably easy and quick, I had only a little trouble on my end, but was quickly able to resolve by rewinding a few times. Thanks for your help!
I also followed the directions precisely; but after duplicating the selected area twice, renamed the layers, went to the Chin above layer to create the clipping mask, controlT for the transform tool, right-click, and selected warp. As others stated, only the box changed. Where does one turn off Stroke (which in Edit = 1px) and Fill?
There are a number of videos out there all kind of using the same approach for the same issue. But this one is the best that I found. Thank you!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Great video! Lots of helpful tips! The only thing I couldn't get to work was creating the layer with a copy of everything merged. Ctrl + Shift + Alt + e will not work for me. I even tried creating the layer first then attempting, but still no dice :(
Thanks for the feedback. I try to make my content quick to not waste others time and get to the point. I'll take this feedback going forward and find a good pace.

I had exactly the same problem:( I can't figure out what's wrong...
Did you create the clipping mask on the Chin Above layer?

Once I get to create clipping mask it will not move the image only the outline itself

Shift alt command e?? What
0:30 when I do this a black section appears in the curve?
You probably had a stroke or fill on. Make sure to turn it off and it should work.
The liquify doesn’t recognize the face
Tight.
Very quick, this video helps me to get away with murder........ Thanks champ, short, straight to the point.
💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻
Doesn't work. I get squares in my "warp" , then only my hair moves, the chin doens't move at all
Are you warping the correct layer by chance?
This video moves so fast it’s hard to keep up. Even when I rewind it

For the God sake. Where is this “make selection” on Mac?
Does it now show up when you right click? I'm on windows so it might be different
@@marcoavaldez on a mac and nothing shows up when I right click.
Pain in the add
I'm sorry but you go so fast! Great idea but dang.
you talk so fast I cannot keep up.
Hey there. Thanks for the feedback. RUclips does have an option for slowing down or speeding up content. That may help.
