Great job on the MGRs Dave, lovely line-up of locos too. TMC, Strange where it is but a fantastic place to visit. One of my go to holiday destinations around the NYMR. ATB to you.Stuart
Cheers Stuart, TMC certainly had plenty of bits and bobs to look at 👍 they’re one of my go too places simply because I like Whitby and it can’t be easy competing with some of those southern big boy shops so I shop with em to do my bit.
Welcome back Dave. Nice to know you had a great holiday with lots of alcohol, while the rest of us were sat anxiously in front of RUclips bored Sh§tress awaiting your return with no alcohol! (Honestly 😉) mgrs now at 25 looking good I like the dents, but too expensive per wagon to mess any up. Awaiting next episode
Glad you’re back, refreshed and ready to go. Don’t ever stop being a big kid. It keeps you young. You will still get extremes in temperature in an outside man cave/shed but at least you can open the door and get some air inside. See you can’t stop buying locos. It’s like an addiction. You’ll be hiding them from the wife soon. Keep the videos coming as some of the other people on RUclips have suffered from burnout and have started going loopy predicting the end of the world and the railway hobby. All the best.
Nice update there DOD….. There’s one written rule somewhere in my loft…..you can’t have too many 37s! That’s a bloody nice line up, if only Richard comes good & gets you a Colas, that’ll be mint! 😜 Nice to see Ladderman is spreading his wings in SA, let’s hope he gets there and starts to work his magic, who knows what will turn up? Good to see you back👍 Cheers John b😎
Good to have your videos back! I chuckled when I saw your new 47526, because I bought the same model last week, I wanted a 47 and was really taken by the "tatty" factory weathering. I didn't get mine additionally weathered as I'm going to try adding some of my own (my first weathering attempt). I also bought it DCC ready with the intention of trying Roads & Rails Hornby 7000 TXS sound decoder with Plux16 adapter, which I fitted yesterday, works very well, and a much cheaper way into sound. You lose the cab and engine room lights because of the Plux16 adapter but for a £50 saving over Zimo or ESU sound I'll take that!
Crikey. It’s like a scene from Fallout 😮 you sure there wasn’t a nuclear leak or something? So many dead… the tragedy. Good thing you’ve got “Lord Hylton” to help with the clean up 😂😂😂 good to see you back mate, and cannot wait to see how the “Training Room” turns out, going to be a big build by the sounds of it 😮 and cheers for Ladderman… he’s gonna have a blast in the Highlands.
Aup mate, I don’t actually know what’s gone on, think it might have been alien technology related though. Training rooms gonna take me ages. Itching to crack on though
And the Dave is back.. eases in with a showing of the 37's. Knowing i cannay not resist. lol. Tis good to see thee back lad!. At least the layout has weathered (Puns intended) the heat well.. Look forward to the next episode.
@@doubleodave Mine should finally arrive sometime this week. was sent last friday.. I keep my fingers crossed they do not lose it en-route. And the weather here has been very Irish like. Sunny n windy with the occasional shower, some heavy and prolonged.. lol
Great to have you back Dave love this episode glad I'm not the only one that couldn't resist that weathered 47 sooo good. As for those £12 decoder's I've fitted two so far for the price what's not to like !!! How about trains delivering refreshments in the Jim oh sorry training room 😅😅😅
Yeah TMC send out loads of offer emails but this one was a real deal! I just need to figure out the cv settings on those decoders and then they’ll be 👌

Nice one Dave, back to work! Now you're clearly a big hitter in the industry, getting freebies and can take the big companies head on.. 😉 Can you ask them this for me please as I'm stuck in Thailand and can't bang on their door. WTF is wrong with the companies? 10 buffets, no problem, 1st class, could have two trains. To run a prototypical WCML train from the 1980s I need at least 10 x Bachmann MK2Fs, 5 x Oxford Rail Mk3a, 10 x MK1 Bachmann or Hornby. but they're not there....anywhere. I've never seen a train in my life with just 1 second class coach, always loads so why don't they release more, or sell them in multi-packs so those of us who actually want full rakes can have them, can you have a word please.👍
Looking forward to seeing any progress on the "training layout lol" mate. Hope you're recharged after the break, did you lose any subs due to not uploading over the summer?
