Glad they nerfing yordle. Gamemode is unplayable when someone randomly hit yordle in the lobby and just win. Otherwise this gamemode is a blast!
@@shady980yordle is pretty balance if the lobby is competent, sadly half your lobby is usually below master clueless player so the smurfer who play yordle will hit veiga 3 easily.

The remover change w/ golden removers is honestly a great QoL. It actually felt kinda bad getting a remover playing stuff like pengus party and i seem prone to getting 1 EVERY start of a game.

TBH double nerf on the fated line seems a bit too much, maybe just nerf the ahri ap would have been enough but whatever hope this dont get the comp out of the playable comps. Dont really wanna see lobbys of only ashe/kaisa carry

Hi Mort, i have a proposal to make. I just got my girlfriend into the game and its a horrible experience to a new commer to be honest. I would really love to see some kind of info tab in the main menu where you can look up everythink. My idea is like pingus execlopedia, on the first page explain what the stats are and waht they do, then a page for each trade (please include secret stats maybeee) then for each champ and each item. Imagine a pokedex but for tft. It could make the game way more accessabil and would just be fun to luck at. Thanks for listening to my potch and enduring my horrible weiting ^^
dude, at set 1 we played without any guides, even building items was a black box, you never know what you will get combining rod and cloak. Nobody knew about saving gold over 50, whether roll or lvl. It's literally megatons of learn sources now if you wanna master the game. Just teach your gf game basics and spectate ~10 games, then enjoy and have fun together.
i've always wanted to know the unit stats without having to buy them or search online. Something in the menu would be helpful for new people.

That's when ppl don't know what they are doing cuz the game is fresh. Now smurfs exists and genuinely ruined the new player experience. I remembered doing random things and still somehow net a mr.100 back then but with all the player damage adjustments now ppl die too quick to even get to know the game. But ig that happens to most online games with a large enough playerbase.

i highly recommend watching frodan's watchparties on twitch or youtube, definitely the best viewing experience
snipers is not just bad bc of the 1% but bc ashe is bugged to often run forwards with plenty targets to hit.
happened to me a lot especially in the bottom left corner, but bottom right as well

Im a ranked player and never really like the new gamemodes. Pengu party is a rare exception, I absolutely love it! I hope it gets built upon or revisited in the near future.

I'd love to see the malphite encounter not being able to overlap with the golden remover, feels bad when you pick golden remover and find out you lose an augment.

Hi mort , hope for a mini rework for the reforger system this much RNG is unnecessary hope when you reforge an item it will pop up a menu for potential items you might pick from like an item anvil, or at least it will reforge for the same class item ( tank item + reforger = new tank item etc)

Why tf is the boss not made into a selector like mecha... It seems to be a no brainer to do so, and quite frankly a bit unfair that they work differently from each other.
The only unplayable champ reroll is tristana her ultimate making her jumo into a group is just too troll she gets 1 tapped

Its strong but I dont think it's broken, and there are a lot of good comps to play so I agree with mort
The Kaisa comp is a counter to Reapers, Dryad Fated also can beat reapers. I think we're in a good spot and with the small nerfs to Syndra/Ahri, a buff to snipers, everything is viable now.
@@khoado2340 Idk what elo you are playing at, but at plat/diamond all I see is sniper/warden or sniper/ghostly. So idk why the hell you would want a buff to sniper xD Literally the only comps right now are reaper, sniper and bruiser + irelia.
I've had many games where I'd gotten either sniper or ghostly augment and I had to contest 5 players in the lobby
@@Pantsu2getGAMES I'm 700+, no one plays ashe here. The comp doesn't come online without a lot of emblems
sniper augment means I gotta try very very hard to make top 4. Ghostly emblem you should always head for zyra reroll, or if there is a lux player in the lobby already, go for senna reroll instead. Do not touch sniper if you want to climb

While making prismatic orb more frequent is fine, can you atleast make them equal. Getting tome of traits and a support item while entire lobby gets a radiant item feels awful.

Almost wanted to stop the video when he said that the meta was in a good spot. I see 4-5 people contested sniper or ghostly every game in plat+, is this info based off of diamond-challenger elo or low elo? Because It's not true for the entire gold-emerald elo.
Literally all I see is porcelain (amumu, ashe, lux being the mains) sniper with either ashe/warden or senna/ghostly (where 1 star senna does more dmg than a 2 star ashe) and bruiser/irelia.
The meta hasn't been this stale in years.
It's a fun set, don't get me wrong, but there really aren't that many comps that can contest the couple of just flat out better comps.
They balance the game based of the top 1% of players
@@sniksnak6959 this is sadly the trend with normal league as well. It even goes as far are balancing around the actual pros
@@Pantsu2getGAMES but in normal leagie they do balance the game based on other tiers of play than elite. I think they have like 3-4 tiers where as tft only has one
@@sniksnak6959 Mort has said the opposite as well as the pros. They balance the game for the majority (Gold) to keep new players coming and to keep the majority of players happy.

Light tap to fated should not make a big difference........We unbuffed snipers because it turns out a 1% nerf can break a meta. ????????????? They nerfed the only thing making fated meta but dont think a 10% and 1% nerf are much but then turn around and say snipers were useless because of a 1% nerf. Seems very contradictive to me.

Why are for fun patches not the main focus you aim for, it's always at the end when everyone is over the set. The game is pretty much dead for high elo right now and will be till the next set. Yes there is still players active but queue's are long, the game is dull, no changes, feedback isn't taken seriously... so queue's are long because people stop playing.

This patch is so bad. Balancing is so bad. How does it make any sense that Lux 3 is infinitely better than Zoe 3? This is such a joke for a set that reaches the end and more like some beta testing shit. No offense.

OMG. When did he started using the word LINE. It's so annoying. What's wrong with comp or board or w/e. A line is a line, why use such a stupid word to describe "team comp"
I see you don't know what line means in the context of TFT
Many competitive players use that terminology, because a team comp refers to a single moment in time (for example , only the final 4 dryad 5 fated Syndra board) while a “line” is the whole gameplan in general (including the 3 fated early game, the potentially arcanist, dryad, and/or fated mid game, and the late game). It emphasizes that the entire game matters to the result of TFT, not just your end comp.
The idea of using a “line” also comes from poker, basically meaning “overall gameplan”.
What is wrong with the "line"? Me, and a lots of tft streamer uses this word. Because there is the fated line, you can play 5 fated, 6 dryad, 7 fated, so a lots of variation, that is why we call it the fated line. And it also means the whole gameplay, like the early game, mid game, not just the engame comp.
It's shorthand for line-up.
EDIT: Its definitely not because its a "single moment in time" or because there's a "fated line".
