I do agree the 4070 ti is overpriced but to expect it to be the same price while delivering that large of a leap in generational performance is also a misstep. The 3070 ti compared to the 2070 super provided an additional 20-30 frames on average. Where as the 4070 ti is delivering on some titles almost a full 100 fps more! Not to mention it being more efficient. Im far from a fan of Nvidia but I don’t think its as clear cut as people have been making it out to be. I think is should of release $100 cheaper with an MSRP of $699.
Thats actually kinda mad how a 3070 Ti isn’t even that much better than a 2070 super. It was said that a 3070 could outperform a 2080 Ti when the 30 series first came out lol.

@@Deathscythe91 Look I just look at the GPU usage on this video in the Hogwarts Legacy part and the usage is below 70%. The game really is bad at using all the available cores, so even high end CPUs like the 13900K can't max out the 4070 Ti at 1080p. Bad optimization is to blame here.
The best thing you can do is skip the 4070ti and get a 7900xt for the same price if not for less. The vram on Nivida's card is going to really nerf its potential with new games. Hogwarts is only the beginning. I'd put money on by the end of the year people are going to regret their purchase of a 4070ti with all the new games coming that require a lot of vram.
No. What about content creators or raytracing by enthusiasts? What if you want to run portal RTX at more than 5 fps (sad how they locked it to only rtx cards tho).
@bloxoss Who gives a crap about portal? If anyone cared about that game, then they would do to it what modders have done to Minecraft and make path tracing that 100% times better than the one Nividas built for their hardware. I mean, have you seen the modder created ray tracing for Java edition compared to Nividas own RTX bedrock edition? It's not even close, and the Java edition one isn't even hardware accelerated. Ray tracing on nividas GPU is just a marketing tool that has very little practical use. They just include if for the same reason they don't give people enough vram and that's to try to force people to upgrade when they make a new product. It's dumbfounding to me that Nivida still has so many customers, but let's be real. Most people that end up with Nivida GPUs is because 90% of pre-built PCs and 95% of gaming laptops have them. The average PC gamer has no freaking clue about any of this stuff.
1080p gaming is too easy for 3070ti and 4070ti. 3070ti can be the entry to 1440p with max settings or trade off some settings for fps, while 4070ti will definitely dominate 1440p.

The performance difference between the 30 series and 40 series seems to be directly proportional to clock speed. Too bad there's no way to get 30 series to 2500+ mhz to compare apples to apples.
i'm still rocking a 1070 ti and i will be upgrading to a 4070 ti soon. it'll be a massive jump for me.
Yeah I'll wait for the 5070, it'll probably triple my 2070 super at a similar price or lower (compared to the 4070ti)
Same exact case for me. As tempting as upgrading my 2070S is I really just wanna wait one more generation to make the upgrade more worth it.
I bought my 2070 super like 2 years ago and tbh it’s not that different from the 4070. I regret nothing so long. Like the overall picture is the same. It’s mainly just a numbers game at this point. But if you want a decent mid priced high quality graphics card I’d say the 2070 is still a good buy even with it being a few years older.
The picture is the same because he is using the same settings to make a comparison dude. Normally you would play on much higher settings and resolution with a 4070 which would make the game look much better obviously.
@@demon5965 Hardly noticeable during normal game play, only when you're pixel peeping, but whatever, dude.
Bro if you game on 1080p of course an upgrade from 2070s to 4070 or 4070ti would be useless. The 2070s is a great card and still does exceptional in 1080p, it's still very decent in 1440p even in new games. Just everything beyond 1440p it's starting to show it's age.
I'm not defending nvidia here since I absolutely hate their marketing strategies since the 3000 series, but this is a ridiculous take, lol
performance jump in 4070ti is impressive
If gpu prices went up at half the rate of performance #s, a gpu would cost about 3 million dollars today.
what's the resolution?
"Double the performance for double the cost!"
I dont see any visual difference between the lowest graphics card to the highest, just becuase the numbers look better on the 4070 doesnt mean its better visaully
Surprise: 1070 ti still relevant
Not surprised: How bad the 3070 ti was.
Residentevil 4 is fake test on 1070ti. i get 60 fps in those scene
What is the name of this overlay?
If anything, the VRAM usages show that an 8GB 4060ti will be DOA
Lol
Welp I learned the card you spent almost a grand on during the GPU mining craze on will become obsolete in 4 years
How far they went from the 3000 series to how great the 4000 series performs is mind blowing
really the same thing i see no change just cause the nubmers change dotn mean u get anything out of it. now we get max performance only thing we need a good themral performance
Prices are mind blowing too😑
@@Stargazer221 As a 3080 owner playing at 4k, if I put everything ultra it's most likely 50-60 FPS(With DLSS), I prefer playing at 80 + , which means I tweak some settings to get there, but with 4070 Ti for example, you could get 80+ for the same settings I get 65 ish, and if you enable FG it will go much beyond that so.. for 4k gaming, this seems like a pretty decent upgrade to me.
@@kobi2024 yea idk if its a laptop or desktop but i need a 360 refresh monitor to get more consistent fps to match with refresh rate. If u dont have gsyc or advanced optimus than u will get a lot of tair. U buying a 4k display when games aint even that compatible with 4k yet and there no teach that gives alot of for for 4k. Ofcourse if u use 4k u need a higher refresh rate which is so hard to get for 4k cause it uses so much energy for the refresh and fps has to blance with the the hrtz monitor so if ur monitor is 120hrtz max thats the most fps u cam get without screen tair. If u want more fps just go use 2k monitor u tryba to get as kuch out of yr 4k 80 fps is nothing
@@kobi2024 i mean i have a monitor with g sync and advanced optimus so i never need to use vertical sinc or anti analysis and my monitor can switch from cpu to gpu task when needed so i save power and computer life. 4k is more for streaming atm intil they make somthing gor gaming that can handle 4k. But in reality there no deference
Thx für the Tests ;)
Just wanna say thanks for these videos. As a home builder these videos are crucial for me when selecting hardware. Just cuts through the fat and shows us what's up. Thanks!!
i have 3070TI - i'm happy...
i think the 1070ti and a 13100f is a super budget combo in 2023
intel arc 770 or 750 with the i3 13100 would be the best budget bang for the buck imo
I prefer Ryzen 5 5500 or i5-11400F because more core better for multi-tasking
@@kevinyoliveira68 I mean yeah i prefer 200 dollars more than 100 dollars whats your point? lol
@@BassRacerx In my country both Ryzen 5 5500 and i5-11400F cost same that a i3-12100F

Not for me
I just bought 1070 ti founders edition and I was so depressed but after seeing this video I realize ""its not that bad""
i still play with a 1070 and it s still quite good
How much did you pay for it ?
@@Bloodreav3r in Pakistan around 150 USD
@@WajeehLEO that is a really nice price for the power you get
what is the osd soft ware u are using please
4070 ti is amazing but in india price is 74k and 2060 super price is 22k so 3070ti price is start with 40k so best price to performance is 2070 super
The best fps/dollar would actually be the 3070 ti at over double the performance, packed with features and driver support and efficiency etc. at less than half the price
Next year I am getting a 3060 12gb few months ago it was around 28k but the price is increasing 😭😭
@@hff7904 the 3060 is already more than 2 years old. And you'll be getting it next year? Pretty sure better GPU will be available for 25k rupees by then

Don't buy new cards, make Nvidia hurt! These companies need to learn a lesson! You don't sell to crypto miners, restrict supply and expect your base customers to just come back and lick the boot and beg for more!
If you look through this comments section, you will find people that do.
I use a 1650 laptop but now i got a whole pc (parts) and for the GPU i went with the 4070 ti. Been a few days and I haven't built it yet because i might end up breaking something. Waiting for the weekend to call my friend over who has built a pc

Ada lovelace is so efficient for the performance output 😳
nice comparison!
Thats why they wanted to sell you 4070ti as a 4080. Because the jump between 3070ti and 4070ti is so big like never before.
It's all nice stats but I am still to find a game that's worth spending 900€ into a graphics card.
Shame 3070ti’s performance is dropped really fast even @ 1080p Ultra this card going to 🥜 hurt soon.
Fax
3:59 rdr2 doesn't work at 54 fps with a 1070 ti on ultra. This benchmark is lying.
Thats actually kinda mad how a 3070 Ti isn’t even that much better than a 2070 super. It was said that a 3070 could outperform a 2080 Ti when the 30 series first came out lol.
Самый честный и безмолвный обзор. Уточнить карты от каких производителей

I just bought a 4080 instead for 1300 pretty good deal with the shroud on it
Niceee
If you've got it like that...great but it REALLY bothers me the thought of 1300.00 to play video games.
こうして見るとRTcoreとTensorcoreを初めて搭載したTuringは非常に優秀だったのが分かります
nice comparison big fan bro
so the 4070 ti gets like 50-80% more performance then the 3070ti until you play a game like hogwarts and the vram comes in play and its just 5% better then a 3070ti 🤣
In the video it's a CPU bottleneck.
@@conyo985 but the usage is the same as the other cards around 15%? and a 13900k should not be the problem here xD it can get more fps with a 4080 and a 4090 so it cant be a cpu bottleneck or else the fps would be about the same between the 70 -80 and 90 class card
4070ti is bottlenecked hard.
@@DuuhEazy then instead of telling me i have no idea , why not tell me how it is instead? or you dont know ?
with DLSS or Native ?
The best thing you can do is skip the 4070ti and get a 7900xt for the same price if not for less. The vram on Nivida's card is going to really nerf its potential with new games. Hogwarts is only the beginning. I'd put money on by the end of the year people are going to regret their purchase of a 4070ti with all the new games coming that require a lot of vram.
No. What about content creators or raytracing by enthusiasts? What if you want to run portal RTX at more than 5 fps (sad how they locked it to only rtx cards tho).
Fax
Can't wait to see used 4070ti for less than 650$ in few months
GTX 1080 Ti vs RTX 2080ti vs RTX 3080 Ti vs RTX 4080 Ti next time pls
1080p gaming is too easy for 3070ti and 4070ti. 3070ti can be the entry to 1440p with max settings or trade off some settings for fps, while 4070ti will definitely dominate 1440p.
way too pricey for the performance the 40 series offers
Какой можно собрать недорогой компьютер, чтобы он тянул все игры в 2к

Man I really wanna upgrade my 2070S but I also wanna keep waiting so that way my upgrade gets even more a performance gap. I think imma wait for 5000 series as tempting as it is.
same here man, also thinking of upgrading my 2070s, really not sure what the best call is here
Lol that's wat I am doing. My 2070 Super is still gong good. just waiting till the 5000 series :) The 4070 TI is equivalent of 2 2070 Supers so I wonder what the 5070 TI will be :D

El salto de potencia entre la serie 3000 y 4000 es bestial pero es acorde al precio? 😅
Yes! 33% price increase for 66% frame rate increase on the 3070-ti.
You always should state clearly if dlss 3 is used. It is misleading
This comparison doesn't let us understand the real difference. Coz 4070 ti is able to play rdr2 in 4k with 60+ fps it's more than 1070 ti in 1080p
And then we activate DLSS
