You’ve got it completely wrong it never used to be a massive rave scene at all. It was a peaceful tranquil place where families used to go for years and it would be a place where people who knew each other would all come together and camp together. Over the years people have put raves on the beach but that is a more recent thing, it was never a party place.

I think that was travelers living in that 1st campsite not all travelers are bad people im 1 myself but i wouldn't stay near other travelers not even for 1 night, Especially people with attitudes like those people had you wouldn't have to do or say much for trouble to kick off. It looks similar to Holywell Bay in Cornwall with the sand dunes and it is a great value at eight quid a night. The problem with beaches in Thailand is that they spit-roast your body if you go there during the day.
I went to the D field this year.... had a much better experience away from the "C' field 'CLICK' ..... more sheltered for tent users, plus easier access to the beach and toilet facilities too.

I’ve been there a couple of times to visit a mate camping. A real mixture but having moved to Norfolk from Essex over 30 years ago it’s definitely one of the least friendly counties, they’re very weary of any ‘outsiders’ 😂
