i remember when that restaurant at 16:24 of this video on the corner of 149th and brook ave was i believe a King steak back in the day. another banging video.
During the day its ok because there are lots of businesses in this immediate area, however after 8PM when almost all businesses are closed. You don't want to be anywhere near 149th Street between the Concourse and Bruckner Blvd with a group or alone. When you've lived in this area for over 40 years you know.
Incredible watch - I cannot believe how 'LONDON' this looks - it honestly has so many similarities in architecture and layout - and a total vibe too ! It is giving Tottenham, Mile End, Bow Road and Finchley Road vibes thanks for bringing a London girl on a trip around the city - loved this :)
It doesn’t look anything like north London. The roads are too wide and it’s all block buildings. There are no curves. It’s only the third world immigrants which give it similarities to London.
Loved this place when i was there...being an Aussie from Sydney, Australia i found south Bronx had the closest vibe to my own hometown (located nowhere near the tourist areas) At night, was ok to move around, simply kept my head. i found alot of common ground with many people i spoke to..just like home, no b.s straight up, speak their mind...salt of the earth as we say in Aussie!
The one and two bedroom apartments are quite small.. with the three and four bedrooms being much bigger.. we also have upstairs and downstairs duplex apartments that are three bedrooms..
And I'm from from Patterson a few blocks down on Morris Ave right across from the old yellow taxi where western beef is now and IS 183 was one whole school. I grew up there during the time of paper tissue transfers and the old ding ding buses and there was still elevated tracks on third ave👵🗽🚇🚍🚉

Wooooow I literally live right here and walk up and down these streets every day. There is nothing hood or dangerous about the Bronx. I’ve been living here 3 weeks now, and I have never felt more safe in my life. The people of the Bronx are beautiful, work hard and the kids just had graduation. The Bronx is AMAZING. Please don’t like and say that the Bronx is dangerous. 😊 I walk and down this same street every day for Exterior Street. The Terminal Market is awesome too and there’s vacant properties in scoping out in the area to have donated to my ministry for transitional living. 😊❤
Quiero saber si usted sabe de mi hija Andrea Betancourt pues ella estuvo en Bronx y yo estuve viviendo por allí y comentan algo muy mal como me puede ayudar
Years ago the Concourse was the fifth avenue of the Bronx. Jewish people lived there lawyers dentists doctor I worked for a Doctor 1150 Grand Concourse Dr Samuel J Stein. He lived 1100 Grand Concourse. The place was spotless. Those people have moved when the place was dangerous. I lived there 1963. Came home one day we were robbed. They broke a metal fence but they came in they took everything. I miss my Grace Dodge high school ring. 10k gold cost me $15. My husbands Army bag was their suitcase. These were the two things they took not expensive but sentimental value. A new sewing portable machine a brand new church recorder. And so many things. I asked God to forgive them. Because he forgave us. These guys must be in their late 70 yrs or 80 yrs old now.

Swore me in love under my windows
Baby, I'm in love
Show me yourself
I don't understand (Oh-oh-o-oh)
Kiss my contract
Doodads on my hands
Monster High doll
Swore me in love under my windows
Baby, I'm in love
Show me yourself
I don't understand (Oh-oh-o-oh)
[Hook]
[Chorus]
Kiss my contract
Doodads on my hands
Monster High doll
Swore me in love under my windows
Baby, I'm in love
Show me yourself
I don't understand (Oh-oh-o-oh)
Kiss my contract
Doodads on my hands
Monster High doll
Swore me in love under my windows
Baby, I'm in love
Show me yourself
I don't understand (Oh-oh-o-oh)
Bronx Native , man that joint has fallen down
Why?
It's very diverse, that's good. But I can see things started to change once you left the business district.
I lived there for 17 years. Moving out of nyc was the best thing I ever did. I highly recommend it. What a shithole.
Merci pour la balade. Tourisme via RUclips 😂 concept intéressant.
Yes my home patterson projects ❤
It was mine as well. I used to live right across from where there was an old yellow taxi station where Western Beef is now and IS 183 was one whole school. Also down the block from the taxi station there was a bread factory and they used to give a free bag of unsold fresh breads and bagels🥖🗽🥯
@danatorres1035 yes I remember dat damn the taxi station dats right
I was in the Bronx in November 2023, but because I was Brazilian the Bronx was like being at home. 😂😂😂
I think he has one of those cameras hidden on the sunglasses because no one suspected he was recording, otherwise they would’ve looked at the camera and many others would object and complain about it.
16:46 "Don not videotape me!"
I grew up on 137th and Willis Ave. It was a great neighborhood!
Try walking at nite 😮😢

You caught a dope deal at 17 minutes 37 seconds. Two guys on the right. lol!!!!
