This dev is absolutely insane- made a goofy single player horror game called Upturned, made IT STEALS, and then Lethal Company- all games people are unanimously in love with
ohh, thats why some of the mechanics feel similar to It Steals
I don't like It Steals, but that's good to know and I'm happy for them.
and also horror roblox games that were loved by the community (if I remember correctly)
Oh shit this is the same dev as It Steals?? I had no idea, I'm glad they're still making games and getting the attention they deserve
Zeekerzz cracked the Horror Game Code, you have to balance the horror with hilarity, in It Steals, there was too much horror, in The Upturned, he made it too goofy, and then with Lethal Company, he hit the soft spot and got it right, leading to mass fame with his game to the point that part of his playerbase only know the game exists, and not him.
Zeekerzz is a great horror game maker.

Thing I really enjoy about Spiff is how he actually takes risks to progress and plans smartly. Like instead of staying on the ship when the giant blind dog was there and panicking he immediately goes to the back of the ship and goes off to get to facility faster. Genuinely smart dude.
I never realized how good Spiff is at video games till I saw him singlehandedly outperform me and my friends in this game
Spigg is a god gamer, he just makes it look so incredibly easy.

@@lordmarshmal_0643 well zeekers (dev) did became a horror roblox developer (made good roblox horror games) before he went indie, he made It Steals, Upturned and tons more horror games after moving on from roblox
@@lordmarshmal_0643 To my knowledge the dev, Zeekerss, has only ever made horror games. I mean early on in his career he made Roblox horror games, but if you consider Roblox to be "minecraft ripoff content" then you've clearly never been on Roblox.

My house was a dedicated LAN house, we had a room with 8 PCs in it. We all chipped in to buy secondary PCs specifically for LAN so nobody had to move their entire rig for the parties. It was a great time.
Some of us just have no social skills. Like me. It is our lot to be lonely.

Spiff and his team here are actually the only RUclipsrs/Streamers I saw learn during the gameplay. Everyone else just died to the same exact thing over and over, but Spiff and his friends learn from their mistakes each time. Good job on that!

The unmistakeable mark of a speedrunner! LOL I've watched dozens of streamers & creators playing this game and what's impressed me is how every group has worked out different things in their own way. Even the games where everyone is 100% hamming it up for the effortless comedy gold, they still find their own ways to approach the same problems... it's a testament to the excellent game design. You can definitely tell who's a speedrunner, horror game enthusiast, tactical co-op gamer, or an all-rounder though! 👍

Modded Lethal Company is hilarious to watch (especially the Jester mod when it replaces its “hunting” music with Free Bird)
I hope theres a mod that replaces the jester music with doom music like meathook

Spiff's reaction to the sound you make while drowning will never not be funny
Massive kudos to killing the Thumper with the shovel.
Tips:
-SCAN ALL THE TIME! Some items are TEENY TINY and scanning will show you their VALUE before pickingthem up, in case you need to judge the urgency of what you want to carry. Scanning also will alert you to monsters just out of your sight, such as the head centipedes. This will also add them to the in-game beastiary where you can read tips.
-BUY THE TELEPORTER ASAP! The teleporter will pull back whoever you're looking at on the cams at the cost of them dropping their current loot and equipment. However this can also bring back DEAD crewmates so you don't suffer penalties. However, crew eaten by Giants and Worms and quicksand won't be recovered. This ALONE is why having 1 person always at the ship is valuable.
-NEVER buy the ship horn. All it will do is send all Eyeless dogs into a PERMANENT frenzy and they will constantly attack the ship.
-Scanning your dead teammates will inform you of what killed them.
-Giants are nearly deaf BUT they have SUPER good eyesight. You can distract them with a Laser Pointer. Otherwise you need a flashbang, or someone teleporting you out of his hand.
-Update 45 is live and now the game has more monsters, more loot, and fall damage is more brutal.
I completely disagree with the never purchasing the ship horn. The ship horn when put at the back of the ship aggros all the eyeless dogs to the back, leaving your teammates able to go through the front door without fear.
I also know for a fact that the laser pointer/flashbang does nothing to the giant. That is just a myth although he was slightly nerfed in the latest update by lowering his view distance from 100 to 70.

radar boosters using the flash command practically makes giants entirely useless

To see Lethal Company go from a community of a few hundred people to being the top-selling game on steam really is something else

It's incredibly how Spiff doesn't realize to use SCP-096 tactic of LOOKING UP OR DOWN.
I’d assume you’re saying this to use against the bracken, the black spiny neck snappy creature. That wouldn’t work because although looking at the bracken for too long will cause it to kill you, if you don’t look at it at all, it will still kill you. You have to look at it and then look away quickly.
Bracken isn’t deadly enough where it matters

These guys are the funniest dudes ever, especially paired with this game. My favorite moment was 26:33 where it was the flashback to his screaming getting muffled by the water, comedy gold.
I simply cannot begin to describe how much this game was made for Spiff and his community, the combination is absolute gold

To me, it’s crazy to think that Zeekers started out as a niche roblox developer who made 2 unique horror games in 2017, which both got nominated for best single player game in 2017 bloxy awards (which is a massive flex) so seeing him pop off with this game and It Steals as someone who played both of his games is such an honour to see how far he has come

It’s so nice to people actually play this game seriously and try to win instead of trolling each other. I love seeing the late game and basically nobody gets to it because they keep sabotaging each other for the funny lol
the perfectionist in me is really satisfied by the way spiff and this group play super efficiently. Most other groups cant even reach the first quota on their 5th run cause they screw around too much. Its just nice seeing people actually playing the game good lmao

Taking the apparatus (the yellow battery) makes the planet have an increased spawn rate by taking it out. Its better to grab it later.

it's a good idea to pull it last, because the lights go out and powered doors open, so if you have the braken or other monsters locked up they get out
The computer you use to choose a moon can also be used to turn off turrets, and to open and close blast doors. You can also use the scan command to see how much stuff is left on a planet

At 41:44 that's legit the most terrifying series of sounds I've heard in this game, the coils and jester is just unfortunate
this is the most entertaining lethal company video i've seen so far, i think your tendency to go into places head-on and not run away really let's us experience all the crazy shit that happens in this game
I've never watched a video that feels so rewatchable, especially one at this length. The editing on this video is simple enough so that its not overwhelming but complex enough where it isnt boring for an entire hour and 13 minutes
Seeing spiff go from being a noob to still being a noob but more experienced is something I’ll always love

spiff has no idea what to do when he encounters the jester
Taking the generator (aperatus or however you spell it) actually does more than just turn lights off, it increases the monster spawn rates, opens all security doors, and makes the map invisible on the cameras
Also the back rooms room spawns the bracken which is the thing where you don’t want to look at it for too long
