I’ve got radishes come up. Your right they are quick to,germinate. I’m gonna pickle some . Supposed to be lovely. We’ve had cool winds for a week now. I’m getting fed up with it but I’ll battle on as you say 😊

I used a couple old large sand castle buckets I found in the outhouse to plant my blackberry plants in today. There were 20p on sale at the local supermarket as they were getting a bit dry… Let’s see how they get on! 😅

We've gone from soggy slug-fest to clear blue skies and constant watering down here. Still, it means the flowers are starting to show. I hope you both enjoyed your strawberry!

Yep…the cold nights in Newcastle are yellowing my super hot chillis even in my polytunnel! If it doesn’t warm up soon I think I’ll loose them 😢
Trim off the yellow leaves and take them indoors if possible that will help or add bubble wrap

I’ve made a compost heap and my partner as been throwing potato peel in and they have stated flowering lol

I can't grow radish for love or money, but I'm going to give it a go in tubs next time. They always bolt when I do them in the ground

Hi Ivan what eats potato leaves ? My early potatoes are growing well but something is eating the leaves. Eric from Chippenham.
Slugs most likely check the base of the plant you may see trails then that is the culprit

I used old paper bins from.the pound shop for one of maple trees made holes in the bottom.dont think there a pound now though .re potted this year doing well though x
