Shakur Stevenson will make the inaugural defense of his WBC lightweight world championship against Armenian-born German Olympian Artem Harutyunyan on Saturday, July 6, at Prudential Center in his hometown of Newark, New Jersey.
In the co-feature, O’Shaquie Foster will defend his WBC junior lightweight world title against Brazilian Olympic gold medalist and three-time world title challenger Robson Conceição.
In the 10-round lightweight televised opener, Keyshawn Davis will take on Mexican veteran Miguel Madueño.
Stevenson-Harutyunyan, Foster-Conceição, and Davis-Madueño will be broadcast live on ESPN, ESPN, Deportes and ESPN+ at 9 p.m. ET/6 p.m. PT.

Keyshawn legit has one of the most beautiful paces I’ve ever seen… I think he could finish guys quicker than he does, he’s maybe too patient sometimes but he’s a phenomenal finisher regardless. Love his style. Him, Shakur, Boots, Bud, Loma probably my favorite styles in all of boxing.

I notice 1 thing. Eastern European/ Central Asian fighters are generally pretty humble nice guys, they don’t really need to put the tough guy act on, even though many of them come from objectively tougher environments than the Americans, and a lot of times have the bigger puncher, moe brutal styles. Everyone’s pretending like this guys terrible, but he should’ve gotten the decision over Frank Martin, which was obviously set up to make the Tank fight, and he had an Olympic bronze medal. He’s talented, durable, and comes to fight. Should be fun and the type of style tailor made for Shakur. Shakur UD-12, late stoppage if he wants to make a show.
