As a newbie player to FaB (although not TCGs in general), I appreciate the box opening videos. Your chill approach works well, while showing the cards that you get and talking through the set, along with the pros/cons vs. previous sets. As a newb to the game, it would be interested to know how/why you’re sorting your new loot, and the types of cards.
Thus far I absolutely love the limited for this set. It can go to fatigue, but it’s also so explosive that it doesn’t feel like it. The heroes are all fun to play as someone who did one as all 3. I particularly like the mini games these heroes all have, with Fang trying to get 3+ fealty, Cindra balancing having her kunai, and Arakni being chaos. I don’t think it’s perfect but it’s really good
Definitely a set I was hoping to not go too deep into…news flash. Change of plans lol Bought all but 5 packs in a box at the LGS this weekend got an EARF Shelter and Marvel Agent of Chaos. This whole set just looks and feels great. I love to hate LSS some times lol Now just waiting for my cases to show up!
The Hunted has good set balance in limited play compared to Florian's dominance in Rosetta but most players I have talked to felt whoever won the starting turn preference dice roll had a large advantage in sealed. Hoping it is different for draft. (Also the dmg numbers are quite high for this set!)
I can see that. In my Cindra Prerelease matches I won games where I was given turn zero and leaked 3+ damage and I can imagine similar things with fealty being the case for fang. I don't know if that's the end all be all of the set as there may be higher skill t0 defender strategies to take into account to keep the game start from being so polarizing. At least being able to convert and leak damage t0 is something you need to build your deck to do consistently so even on the more casual end it does require a conceited effort to achieve.
From my limited perspectives, cindra and fang had incentives for getting t0 (damage leaking and fealty/marking respectively), but arakni was a bit more flexible. I don't think it translates well out of limited and your mileage may certainly vary, but if you're confident in your decks ability to convert damage (and your opponent doesn't have tons of leapfrog in Fang's case) then you may actually want the first turn. Arakni is definitely a wash as they aren't quite as capable at converting cards above rate and integral pieces like mark of the black widow are just arsenal fodder t0 BUT, your arsenal is very powerful as web of deceit so going first may still be good enough (especially if you can get a t0 mark into a starting transformation without losing a dagger) PS: it should also be noted that arakni has the greatest density of 3 blocks available to them and so can mitigate the most damage t0 of all the heroes
I watch the *occasional* box opening video, and they're not my favorite, but I think this format is really good, where you're telling an interesting set of stories in a continuous and engaging manner while you also open a box. Much more engaging than just opening the box and commenting exclusively on its contents.
I am not normally one to watch box opening videos, but this set has been a major exception for me. That'll probably stop as soon as I get my hands on it on Friday, though.
Played at 3 prereleases this weekend and had a blast! Got some good majestics but I’m hoping to trade them in to build out cindra when the sets officially out
got super luck on my prerelease. EA RF Ignite on the sealed pool, and then picked up box with a CF Schism of Chaos. So, my luck is gone for like a year now.
We only had one Prerelease up here in the part of Michigan I'm in, but the games felt great and I opened a Marvel Arakni, Marionette, so I really have 0 possible complaints.
Pulls weren't great this pre-release. One guy did get the ea cnc. I did get 4 ms in prize packs, but not my sealed pool. Fang was a fun hero to play. And stressful. I chose fang because I had full warrior equipment. Sitting at 2 hp while my opponent is swinging daggers for free is such a mind game.
The high rarity high power generics bug me a bit, but otherwise I thought the limited experience was very good. I'll be interested to see if it impacts the constructed meta much.
Still can't believe draft supports two to three different deck types per hero!!! I don't know how they do it but limited as you said just keeps leveling up
@@xAVACx I attended two pre releases and have a mostly complete playset of commons and rares. Many people locally are trying out the new cards by printing out proxies and sliding them into their current decks (assassin players). The set is fully spoiled. I don't see how we couldn't have a discussion on the set in the week leading to its release?
Yes, yes it is
Wow, very fast comment!
The limited feels absolutely fantastic, not happy with the new high-powered generics
I’ve watch a bunch of videos for tier list of TCG’s and everyone has F&B in their S tier. I think I’ll finally be giving it a shot with this release.
Welcome to the game!

People seem to forget that during the HVY meta, Kayo AND Kassai were doing really well. Not just Kayo.

i got very lucky on my prerelease. opened a RF Quickdodge Flexor and my prize packs had a CnC in it
This set has been my first set released since I started playing and I am really loving the limited experience so far!
Loved this chill video talking about the set and your experiences, would love to see more down the line!

So go first or second won more?

Please do more opening while talking about relevant things. Loved it.

Warriors will be fun. Prerelease was a good time even though no good pulls lol
Love the set. Pre-release is tonight!

Nip at The Heels better be spoiler art for potentially the best new hero in the game.

I played fang at my prerelease. Got Dual threat and Provoke and had fun hitting hard and disrupting with them.

Yo!! Where can i get a cindra mat!!!!!!!!
@@joshuabrooke3763 Road to Nationals my friend
@EliCrusher Thanks Brother!!
Pulled CnC and a Shelter, also won the Prerelease 🔥🔥🔥
Limited is feeling good, but the CC environment after this I worry will be pretty juiced
Kinda silly for the sealed scene to have 2 classes, one of which having equipment and attacks that specially are strong against the other one
It's awesome
This set seems pretty good. Fang is super fun. Not stoked on all the assassin stuff but I never liked assassin really as it is so 🤷♂️
Shelter as a staple across almost every hero, increased the barrier of entry into the game. 😢
The limited was awesome. But I fear a lot of power creep from this set.
Pssh we don't need a face just need your voice. I love this limited set everyone is fair and well balanced.
It’s not even out yet. 😅
@@SteelfurSpeaks I mean... It is in our hearts, right?
Lol right? we're judging success before people have access XD

I don't really play FaB anymore after a year of just not really enjoying it. The Hunted pre-release was fantastic though.
Prerelease was a bust for me, but the set does looks very good!
