This seems kinda similar to the M5Stack, getting into development board without soldering.

I have the Atom unit already I like it. I may ask for the M5Stack to do the Vs type video

Thank you. Due to my poor AE skills took me most of the weekend to put this together and make it work 🤭🤭
Looks less dated than the previous one 😁😁😁

I have this unit aswell, but I cant seem to get the libraries to work for me. I first get "Cannot initialize ESP-AT Lib" from the serial output of the device, then I checked seeeds forum and saw that someone got it to work reverting to 3 of the libraries dated back to 8th may, so I downloaded. Now it did not complain about that, but I got the "No ack, R00" error instead from the serial output of the device. Do you know which versions of the libraries you used ? (I have tried different combinations of the libraries for 5 hours yesterday, and most of the times the example code does not even compile... even if the library is just 1 month old.) Nice project anyway :)

I just uses what was available at that time. Did you flash the new firmware for RTL chip? It's one of the things I did first

I'm working until Monday so won't have much time to test it ... I'll see if I can try serial on my device

@@notenoughtech serial output works, sorry. I saw I was a bit unclear, what is not working for me is the Wifi-part of this device, :) whichs is a bummer since its made for IoT

@@notenoughtech I finally found the problem. The problem was me!. I feel a bit stupid, cause I thought I had done the flash right, but now I noticed when I found a thread about the core-update that he got "Img1...Img3...Img4" uploaded, where I only got Img1 when I read my log. I forgot to check the boxes that was clearly written in the text on how to flash the device.. Ah well :/ now atleast the wifi scan works, so I know that its working.
