I love them. Okada IS basically the best wrester in the World, and Naito IS my favorite in NJPW. But i don't want to see this match. Not now. Zack should have won, it was Time to build another strong Guy for the company, which needs it HARD.
Yeah my issue with NJPW's main event scene is that is feels very thin, we have Okada, Naito, Ibushi (maybe) and Ospray? I think NJPW needs to build up more wrestlers to be in the main event scene because you can't just use the same guys over and over again or it will get dull.
Maybe once the current batch of YLs comes back, Shota Umino and Ren Narita look like the second comings of Tana and Shibata respectively. Uemura and Tsuji in a couple more years, but they haven't been building up much.
@@elneco4654 , okay thanks yeah I think they really need to because outside of Okada I think the other top guys are in their late Thirties or 40's. They can't go on forever they need to have the next ibushi, Tanahashi etc etc.

But now, I don’t really care to see this match. It’s sad because they are both great wrestlers but I feel like New Japan is a long way from when it was in the late 2010’s or before the pandemic. A lot of that is because of guys leaving for WWE or AEW but NJPW needs to start building new stars. I would have loved to see Zack Sabre Jr. beat Okada and win the IWGP heavyweight championship and take over Suzuki gun as the new leader or something interesting like that. I would also love to see wrestlers from the west come over the east since they feel safe enough traveling over to the west. I don’t know man. A few years back, I would be so excited right now but today, it pains me to say but I don’t want this match to happen.
