I'm from Sweden and I remember hearing this song at a disco in 1999 during the summer at some sort of camp school when I was 13 years old, and I noticed a cute girl on the dance floor there and stood and held eye contact with her until she got flustered and smiled back at me (I think this was when they started singing that "Colours of me, and the colours of you" part), and then a while later she approached me with two of her friends, and I think the same song was still playing at that point, lol. So I have some particularly strong and pleasant memories of this song.
