This is what should've happened in the anime. Instead of hesitating Goku should've used Super Saiyan Blue Kaioken pure rage use Kamehameha Dragon Fist to kill Goku Black completely and Hakai Zamasu.

Realistically if Goku used Kaioken Goku Black would've replicated it making him a lot more powerful. So Goku not using Kaioken in the anime was probably a smart choice since Goku Black did copy Instant transmission and Super Saiyan after Goku demonstrated it

I ain't getting the zamasu explaining how he gokus body dialogue, it skips right over it and then they fuse what the heck am i supposed to let zamasu get a few punches in or something?

When Zamasu switches over to Rose Black, you quickly gotta bring him down to 0 HP before Goku finishes with his "I'll make you pay" dialogue. Once he says that, you only have a few seconds at best, otherwise it'll proceed as canon.
Oh, and make sure you didn't lower the difficulty, otherwise it'll proceed directly to fused Zamasu.
