Hi Nox, welcome back and thank you for your valuable feedback. Yup the undervolt does apply to all brand of 4000 series card. infact 3000 series too. just that the memory for 3000 series card, some will not be able to pump at 1000
Good vid man, i already used undervolt, but didnt know that if u hit apply, the curve will go into the horizontal line on its own. Used a highlight then shift+enter combo for that, but its way easier this way. :) Have a TUF 4070ti OC(non super), and using a 900mV@2600MHz with that +1000MHz on memory. Its a good 10C cooler than the stock settings with lower fan speeds, and about the same in performance without clock speed jumps and dips. Very well worth it!

Thanks for your input, I use to fiddle with undervolt just like you but decided to come out a way to max out the GPU, as each GPU performance is still based on the silicon chip. nevertheless undervolting is the way to go. 1) to drop the temperature 2) stop the fans from spining so high and to make noise 3) prolong the lifespend of the GPU. 😉 Thanks again for your feedback and I am glad you have share your experience too. 👍👍👍
It seems ASUS is having problems honouring their warranties lately. ASUS has always been my go-to brand. Now I am wondering if I really want their products anymore. Note, in the USA, those warranty void stickers have no meaning. They can't void the warranty just because of the sticker. It's illegal.
Hi Mergatroid Mania, welcome back and that will only happened at USA. On our end here in Singapore, that’s not the case. They do honour the warranty and if any stickers are broken, the warranty will be void. Nevertheless, thank you for your feedback.
I have recently upgraded to a 4070ti vulcan oc, so whats the best app to test gpu stability other than playing games? For my undervolt settings, it passes furmark and 3dmark timespy benchmark test but during some games it crashes after around 30 minutes of an hour of gaming.
@@KleoYan Its hard for my card to use lower voltage. I cn do good lower setting voltage with decent score in timespy but when i game it crashes after an hour. Most stable i get now without losing performance is 0.985mv/2805mhz. Game for more than 3 hours without any crash. I realize my card stock voltage is 1.1+ instead of 1v. So even this voltage did cool my gpu abit. From average temp of 65°c to 58°c while maintaining stock performance. Even extra 1 fps..

One quick question regarding boosting the memory clock to 1000mhz, does this apply only for 4000 series? I have a 3080, do i need to boost the mem clock to 1000 too or lesser or not at all?
Hi Grizworth, welcome to my channel. For 3000 series. So far I can do 500 or below with a RTX 3080 tuf. That was in the past. You can try pumping the memory slowing by 50s till it crashes while using furmark. Then drop 25 it if does.

Hi Blb Hansel, welcome back. I can't really commented about the 13900K > or 14900K >. As I don't use those processor. for my main work station. I am using either a 13700K or 14700K and most of the time before this Intel sega apprears. I have been using these setttings. I do not allow either 13700K nor 14700K to go over the PL 1 and PL 2 to 253watts. infact most of the time is at 243watts. also I do offset on Asus , MSI boards at -0.05v as for ASRock which is one of my favourite boards or go to board. I am able to set the offset to -100mv. with those setting set. I have no issues on using the system to do my work and such.. One last thing, I dont play games on intel system. If really wish to game, I would have use an AMD system. it's more practical.

@@blbhansel8226 let me answer you base as an end user. It is good to know about the issue but did that impact you when you are using it? I have been using the 14700K as my main rig for sometime now. Honestly speaking I do not face any issues like crash or any sort. As mentioned, the board I am using is of ASrock Z790 Sonic PG. I have used this since last year on an open bench as I couldn't find the right case for it, till the Montech King95 Pro Persian blue. Anway on ASRock board, on latest bios with the Intel based line profile, I don't even use that as my settings are always these three. PL1 243watts, PL2 243watts and offset Vcore at -100mv. I have not face any crashes and such, back then when I started upgrading bios, I notice the PL2 wattage is at 4000+ watts. That is where I fix the figure to 243watts, thats what I need. My clock speed is always consistant to have P-Cores at 5,383 to 5,486 Mhz and random boost at 5,585 to 5,618 Mhz. It does not bothers me if I can't get random speed at 5.6 or 5.7. I know the higher random boost clock or consitant higher clock speeds requires higher wattage, but I choose to settle with a below intel baseline power for the 14700K (Default 253Watts but I choose to run 243Watts). Reason is, you can't tell the diff by just 150mhz or 200mhz.. I need to work with something stable and at acceptable temperture.

Hi Grizworth, welcome back. In such cases. I advise you to pump the mV up. Example if it’s at 0.925mv set it to 0.950mv. Give that a try.
