Hello thank you for letting me know other youtube post. I would assume the left cassette slow because it is linked to the pitch control and connection is broken so max resistance=slowest pitch, but it's just a guess. Since the belts also power the soft touch buttons and you showed it engage normally I must assume the belts are actually ok. My own I put the top part in a black bag and stored it in my sister's garage and her exhusband thought it was garbage and threw it out! That was a sad day..

Anyway, I would really like to buy a vintage boombox that has both good sound quality and a nice look. It doesn't need to be too loud or feature-laden, other than having line in and your standard tone changing capabilities. the only really "special" thing I'm looking for is a cool spectrum analyzer. Can you suggest one from your collection?

2016. I moved to Dallas and I've only ever been able to find these either in Japan by way of Yahoo auctions and or eBay. But I don't know any thrift stores that have these for sale anywhere.
