These are the three examples I always think about. *Spoilers ahead* -Shannon's dad being in the car accident with Sarah (Jack's wife) - Kate's father in the army with Sayid -Charlie saving Nadia (Sayid's love interest) of being robbed in the alley
NOW you're worried about spoilers? Why would you mention early on in your review that there are flash forwards and flash sideways? Both of those being introduced were GAMECHANGING to the show's structure later in its lifepsan, but you casually mention them like they had existed in the show from the start. That was horrible.
Lost was one of my all time favorite shows. Lost made me a spoiler free person after season 3. I no longer check spoilers on any show or movie. To me Lost had some of the best dialog ever, very quotable. I love the ending, it wasn't the ending I wanted, but it was the right ending for the show. Great video!
girly, i love seeing this lost renaissance your video is great, very happy to stumble upon it. and seeing your catalogue of works spikes my interest , you got yourself a new subscriber:) also the allusion to kate's episodes with your channel name is chefs kiss
I watched Lost every week when it first came out. Now i watch Lost at least once a year, sometimes 2 times. I'm 56 and its my all time favorite tv show. Everytime I do a rewatch I find something I missed. Just found your video and channel. You have a like and a new subscriber. Great video.
I'm 57 and I JUST watched it for the first time. Can't believe I waited this long. Loved every moment of it and now really miss it now that it's over. Will be watching it again, for sure!
I just finished watching Lost a few months ago, and I still haven't stopped thinking about it! The acting, the soundtrack, the mysteries, and the emotional character development combine to make a show that is absolutely enthralling. Some of the characters that I thought were horrible people or were just plain boring at the start became my favorites at the end. Benjamin Linus is my all time favorite fictional character! His journey from being...that....to....gosh, I can't even put it into words. Definitely the most complex character on the show, and the best acted too imo. Have you watch Michael Emerson's other show, Person of Interest? It also is excellent, and Emerson plays a completely different but still enthralling character!
@@KALtheHighstorm117 I agree so much with what you say!!! I love Ben’s journey a lot! Amazing characters and character development! I haven’t watched Person of Interest, thanks for the recommendation 😊
"How many times do I have to tell you, John. I always have a plan." I always love the evil genius character, and Michael Emerson knew EXACTLY how to play the part. And after seeing his performance, the writer's leaned into it also. (He wasn't guaranteed that part when he first appeared as "Henry Gale". They were going to have someone else play "the leader of the others", Ben Linus. But Michael hit it out of the park, so they kept him around.)
The final episode footage of the plane crash debris on the beach was shot during the pilot to document the exact position of each plane part. It was filmed on a public beach. At the end of each day the plane parts had to be removed and then replaced in the exact same positions the next day of shooting. It is a shame that that footage caused all of this confusion about the castaways being dead the whole time. I believe this was discussed in the interviews for the final season DVD.
All the internet polls right after the finale were well above 50% "very satisfied" or "satisfied" (60-75%, if my memory serves). I had no confusion at all about the wreckage. I suspect a large part of the finale audience were people who stopped watching after season 1 or 2, then came back for the finale to find out "the answer" (which was the only reason they were watching it anyway). If that is the case, it wouldn't really matter that Christian Shephard basically looked at the camera and explained what was happening. If you hadn't watched the show in a few years, it would seem like he was saying they were dead the whole time. The rest of the haters may have watched the whole series, but got confused and stayed confused. Many of them are still confused 14 years later. I have a cousin who watched each episode once on tv and thinks they were dead the whole time. I can't bring myself to correct him because I feel like I would get so upset that it would ruin our relationship, lol. I just let it go...like Jack ultimately did.
LOST is like life. Both bring their share of questions, and the answers? They are given to us, or they must be deduced, or they must be invented by each one so that the whole is coherent. And finally, all those that remain, in the next life perhaps.😊 20 years later, still my favorite series, from the first to the last second.
Lost is one of the best shows ever and it does still hold up well today, especially since TV now is generally so bad it has been time to break out the DVDs and rewatch. After multiple viewings the flashbacks in season 3 were really pushing it, so it's good they changed course. Season 2 is my favorite, but I had no problem with and enjoyed the ending.
Never not going to be happy seeing love for this show. I grew up watching it with my father a little and as an adult it is probably my fav show of all time after I experienced it for myself. Cannot even count how many rewatches

Lost was / is one of my all-time favs shows however I am one of the disappointed fans of the ending.
