It doesn't matter at all. Music transcends time, space, language and culture. The one guy in HU said he has always loved Metallica but this song spoke to his soul. That's exactly right. It speaks to us on a deep and primal level. 🤘🏻🖤

We admire their 40 years of relentless touring and the timeless. unique music they have created. It is a great honor to show them our respect and gratitude by recording a version of "Sad But True" in our language and in the style of The HU."
I've been following The Hu since they came out with their first music video (Wolf Totem), I've been hooked ever since! Not only did they take their cover of 'Sad But True' to another level, but they've taken metal to a whole other level! Best metal band to appear since, well, since Metallica in my opinion. They fucking rock!
I love this version, because it sounds so much more creepy in Mongolian to me! Perfect choice for language, IMO. "The Gereg" is a brilliant album, too!
There is something important in the video where we ask humans destroy nature for resources and precious metals but then realizing we die with nature but its to late
the thing is with him being reborn a couple times it's obviously not, because in the end the man spends his life giving back to nature, atoning for what he did to the land. and that's the message that we need to give back before the damage is beyond undoing, which admittedly we're cutting it pretty damn close, to be perfectly honest.
@@patrickdunny2318 well of course, but that symbolizes that one cannot undo the damage alone, we all have to work to fix things, or else it wont happen.
love this cover, just on the presentation alone! The HU makes their music videos like Legendary Pictures makes movies! it's a feast for the eyes AND the ears, i just hope that Metallica and The HU collab on something together in the future!
@@ClandestineSnowman that's because M Night Shamaylan is an idiot who had no REAL grasp of what made the Animated Series so damn good in the first place.

There is so few bands that have the balls the play these covers slower and not faster lie all most all metal covers are usually done. What a amazing headbanger of a super classic (Metallicas black album was the first cd I ever bought back in the early nineties.). So this is a nostalgic song for me and done in such a way that makes it even more kick-ass.
Everytime I listen to the hu it always remind me of asashoryu a Mongolian yokozuna who dominated japanese sumo in mid 2000's he was so dominant yokozuna
This cover reminds me of how Disturbed do covers; its respectful and maintains the original enough to recognise it, but they put so much of their own spin on it that, had the two been 'discovered' it would be hard to tell which the original is. I love it, more covers need to do this! This song just screams Hu. yes, literally too
Im so stoked that you did a video on this! I was supposed to see them at a local place until covid cancelled it..... You should look up Malice Against by NOCTURNAL BLOODLUST. Some kickass japanese deathcore
Your reactions are amazing and have introduced me to a load of bands. Can I suggest you react to Gojira Pray (live at Red Rocks)? It will blow you away
Dude you NEED (if you haven't) to react to "The HU - Wolf Totem feat. Jacoby Shaddix of Papa Roach (Official Music Video)" The mix of these groups is INSANE !!! Loved your reactions keep it up
I heard my son playing this in his room, I thought, huh, there's a classic, he was jamming it pretty loud, that's cool I thought, then I heard the voice track start "GOOD GOD, IS THAT KLINGON??"
Ok just discovered this band, and they covered Metallica’s Sad but True….mind blown! OMG! This is INSANE! I am now a Hu fan. Metallica if you guys ever read this PLEASE INVITE THE HU BAND ON A TOUR WITH YOU!!! FIRE🔥🔥🔥🔥
I was evil grinning when I saw you uploaded this video. The Hu have a lot of good videos. You distilled all Metal video to its fine metal essence, like a wine lover goes over a fine wine.
Music is the language of the soul, even if you don’t understand a word, the music itself can still move you. Also listen to the song they did for Star Wars Jedi Fallen Order, Sugaan Essena (sorry if I butchered the spelling)
I didn’t understand a single world they said, but I understood every word.

Great way to put it
The lyrics are mostly the same.

I think you will agree with this statement: this video proves, once and for all, that Mongol throat singing is metal as fuck.
It is, just as bagpipes and
