Tbh, we see a *lot* of Dazai’s backstory, more than anyone else from bsd probably, but we still don’t know much about him at all. I doubt the author will cover stuff like why he wasn’t with this parents at fricking age 14, and the reason why he wanted to die, and why he’s so skilled at basically everything. The suicidal part of him might just be explained from the book ‘No Longer Human’ or something probably.. but i would love it if the author delved deeper into Dazai’s past. Tho I might be crying a lot cuz a character like Dazai is basically bound to have a sad af backstory... anyway- ty for coming to my ted talk- jesus I wrote a lot- And yeah I need even more therapy after dark era :)) (And after the manga.. rlly reminded me that this is a seinen series) edit: realised how unrelated this is to the comment- sorry..

it kind of saddens me for people to overlook ango and dazai’s relationship with each other even though this about dazai and oda. ango didn’t really want to betray them and still tries to redeem himself. ex. erasing all of dazai’s crimes so he can start anew. (i know this a surface level observation 😅)
This song shortly became my favourite and this video is just one of the best things ever. Especially since BSD is my favourite anime. Too bad this is underrated... I remembered Dark Era after watching this and I just gotta rewatch Dark Era again ;-;
