Jake making fire to make it to the end was one of the most bitter sweet moments in the show to me. Jake finally got a win but the game was already over. Dee had basically won the season the moment Austin told her about the plan to blindside Julie.
Still just that moment made the finale so much better after seeing the messy but endearing game of Jake. Would love to see him come back in 50 and learn from his mistakes and get one move to his way.
As you said its so bitter sweet that he finally accomplished something at the end by beating Katurah but still knew he would probably lose. At least he lasted a lot longer than most people!

Apparently a lot of woke folks on social media hate his guts because he’s a trump supporter (which isn’t unexpected for an older white man from Idaho)
The charity donation was extremely kindhearted and an amazing thing. However when I look at the individuals more so as the characters on the season Mike's edit was pretty neutral outside of him mentioning about donating the money at the end. I'd more so consider the act of the donation outside of the game. Hence why I didn't include Noelle getting Ryan into the Paralympics (and apparently he's been crushing it) which was also amazing to see along with other really great acts by Survivor players I'd consider out of the game.

May be an unpopular opinion but Caroline is a mess. Her chaotic nature got really old and good on Yam Yam and Heidi bringing her to end figuring, correctly, that she would be a no-vote finalist. I do not want to see her play again.
I agree! I appreciate her backstory and what she stands for, but her chaotic and dramatic nature annoyed me to no end. Hearing her scream every half second of the season made it almost unwatchable for me. It got old so fast and while I appreciate her as a person and what she’s been through, I’m honestly not sure I could get myself to watch another season of her. Not my cup of tea
