I have the clicking CD player problem every few years. The silicone grease on the screw drive that moves the laser back/forth gets ‘dried up’ - I open up the deck (just the remove the top, add some fresh silicone grease to the screw (bottom of CD part), loaded a disc and moved from first track to last about 5-6 times, now it’s like new!
Could you please advise how to identify the polarity of the capacitor on the board? Is there marking on the board or is it printed on the capacitor? Thank you for the video.
