Here's the thing. I pay a subscription to use Disney Plus and Amazon Prime in the UK. So I register using my name and address (for amazon deliveries super important) and bank details based in the UK. Now if I go on holiday (or vacation if you prefer) to New York- I can't access the US version of these streaming services. Because despite my IP address being in New York, my account is UK based so the account restricts my access. A VPN, then is useless.
