Synopsis:
Two brothers (Toofan and Shyam) are separated at birth by their father, a police inspector. One grows up to be a magician, and the other, the legendary Toofan, hero of the poor. His father was falsely accused of stealing millions in gold and Toofan is on a mission to clear his father's name from the police records.

Legend Singer Kishore Kumar reluctantly sang the title song with condition that it should be background song. Kishore refused to lend voice to Amitabh, after Amitabh turned down a request by kishore kumar to act in a guest role in Kishore's own production staring his Son. Amitabh at that time was flying high and he presumably that it would be below his image to do such roles which in the hind sight proved costly to Amitabh as his movies without Kishore's voice failed miserably at box office.
