I bought one of these about 3 weeks ago and it's freakin awesome! The only thing is my older MSI monitor is in 1080p and it's taking my eyes a while to adjust to the new resolution lol. The Full HD monitor I have is a MSI MAG271R and it's really good regardless. I use my monitors for both pc/console simultaneously and the Gaming OSD app is a life saver especially with hot keys XD
I actually took the time to run through everything on the monitor and with the MSI gaming app. I was going to include it with this unboxing, but it's 1 hour in change long. But editing the review of it's like 50mins long. I feel like there's no way around having a long ass video. I recorded it with my GOPRO. Doesn't do it any justice. need to be right here with me to see the difference in colors and shit. At first I didn't care for the monitor but now its growing on me.

@@Cain135 That I can't answer. But if you do turn the brightness up it, does hurt the eyes. My eyes actually, then it goes away. Only happens since I like to sit in a dark room. Eyes haven't adjusted yet. I don't own a console. So I can't help you there,.
Hello, sorry to keep yeah hanging... A notification never alerted me to your comment. But, I don't have NETFLIX, I do have amazon prime for a short while. Movies seem fine. Don't bother using HDR it sucks bigtime. I keep the HDR off. This monitor isn't for HDR even though you can use it. I like what i have, I'd like to get another one because I stream my games sometimes, like to have one for chat and see who's on and watching while I'm gaming. I will say playing a video game that's dark, there is some bleed in on the sides and bottom with white. I use the standard settings on my PC. I want to sell mine, I like it, but I rather have a monitor with a speaker built into it. I still think this is a great 2k monitor. I have and had no complaints, no problems with it as well. There's a lot of customization with it as well.
Hi, I just bought the lg 27gl850 and it caused massive eye-strain. I’m afraid that it‘ll also occur on this monitor, have you noticed anything? If yes, does it go away after some time getting used to it or after you changed some settings? Also, does it have an srgb mode and how is the picture quality out of the box? Thanks
I just ordered this. At first i got the 4k 144hz samsung odyssey and it just doesnt suite my gaming needs. I play heavy fps games and 4k 120 doesnt run consistently. So i returned it and have this coming as 1440p 144hz seems to be the sweet spot. If by any luck you see this what are your thoughts on it today n if you got rid of it would you still recommend. I am onthe series x if that helps.
I'd get another MSI, cause I have the mother board, I like to try to stay with the same company and products. I'm actually looking around for another monitor. I want one with speakers built in. I run a 3080 and it looks great. My monitor doesn't do 4K, I think it will be awhile until 4K will get better.

Had mine for 2 days.returned it for a asus rog.no Mather how I calibrated the msi one I never felt happy about colors and brightness.could have been I got a bad panel as well.
I have this problem with sticking with the same brand whether it's TV's and sound systems. I try not to mix things up. Like I was looking at a RTX card but by MSI, but I went with the NVIDIA RTX 3080 instead, since I had good luck with my 2080ti. Thant just me, maybe I'm odd and weird hah. I have an asus router I bought though, couldn't even open a port for COD on the PC with the ISP's router, so I spent the 200$ and got my own. At least this way, I can config whatever I want, and not be limited, and restrictive.
I just plugged it into the wall, connected it to the back of PC, and turned it on. I don't know, hope you got a warranty. I'd call whom ever you got it from.

@@DaveBudness Hi, Have you got an nvidia graphic card? If so you can go to the nvidia control panel settings with right click on your desktop. After that u can choose on the left side The display tab and there you click on Change Resolution: There you choose refresh rate 165Hz. On the bottom u click on use nvidia colour settings and then you should be able to switch from 8bpc (means 8 bit) To 10 Bit. After saving u have to run in 165Hz 10 Bit. If its not working it will switch automaticly to 120Hz 10 bit. I know HDR is bad on the 650€ Aorus FI27Q-P aswell.. Looking for your answer, if something is not clear, how to get to the setting let me know. Thanks

Hello how much height is the monitor in the lowest position?
Wouldn't it be the same if it was raised? You aren't adding weight to the stand while adjusting the monitor it self from too to bottom and vice versa?
