You could actually create small blankets that are like 2x2 feet and donate them to animal shelters. They're the perfect size for cat kennels.

@@gamespc-zi6zouse anything but acrylic (acrylic has plastic in it) using bamboo or eco friendly kinds of yarn would be safest
@@gamespc-zi6zo We get all kinds. I've seen regular acrylic, blanket yarn... As long as it's good to go in the washer/dryer.
Side note: You can also ask your local shelter what size the kennels are or if you can come measure them if they'll allow it.

Crocheting around ends as you go is a game changer. Ie, tie off a colour then lay the end along the edge you're crocheting over next. You gotta try it, no more sewing in ends!
Another good project is a coaster. I do some when I have some leftover yarn

you should tie a bunch of ends together then cake it and make like a scrap bucket hat not a granny square one though! I feel like that would use up a bunch of yarn, or like a same concept but a scrap bear?

You should try a C2C blanket. I hate doing blankets. The corner to corner is fun and works up fast. You can also do pillows instead of a blanket with the pattern or even a bandana. Plus size you only have to know how to count to 6!

If you don’t have any scrap yarn just get some yarn and get a number generator to see how many crochets you need for each color

I think that hot pink yarn you used to make the bandanna is by red heart and called pretty and pink
use the really small scraps and crochet decals/keychains; hearts, stars, gemstones, etc.

Ik that this might sound different but what if you sold or gave away scrap yarn? because that would be easier, and you wouldn't even have to give a certain color just make it like a mystery pack. If you did give them away you could give them to your members or something. Thats just a little idea I had so you don't have to use all of the yarn but still get it out.

:) i like scrap yarn videos :) I have been joining in on a crochet along with coco's crochet corner which has been a different project every 2 weeks as gift ideas / market restock. we are currently on our last project. there has been cup cozi's , beanies, gift bags/gift card holders, hairbands , glasses case, water bottle holder, coasters, pot holders, baskets, wash cloths , soap savers and the last project is appliques and flowers.. I have used so much scrap yarn with the cal it has been awesome and i have alot for xmas stocking fillers sorted already :) I thought i would share the ideas with you for your scrap :)

Like when I'm watching a pattern it goes so slow for people like beginners like "This is a chain" and they repeat it 10x, its good if your just learning to crochet but when you know the stitches, its crazy, I usually put on one of your videos and have the pattern in another tab😅
