Thanks for documenting! Just did this last week with my son and DIL, but your photos and video are much better (I was hanging on for dear life). I almost bailed the morning of our booking but so glad I was able to muster up the courage. Our guide Kevin was fantastic. Warm regards!

Great video. One feels as if on the trail! Reminds me of the latest Mission Impossible with the paraglider in the mountains.

Have you guys done the Via Ferrata at NRocks in West Virginia? Curious how this one compares. That one is great if you haven’t been there yet. Just 3 hours from Pittsburgh.

I had to look that one up, that looks like so much fun! You are right- only about 3 hours from me! I'll have to find a day to go do this one in the fall! Thanks for sharing this info!

@@TravelSzN you’ll love it and not believe you are in WV. It just feels so much like being out west in the Rocky Mountains.

Guys - thanks for the video. You are saying somebody with no experience in VFs can hike this one and that’s cool Still, are there shorter/easier ones in Murren to test the waters before you jump in with the big one?

There were a few people in our group with a fear of heights and no experience rock climbing or ropes courses or via ferratas, and they did it! I do recommend going with a group + guide if you are not experienced with via ferratas. I don't believe there are any easier ones in Murren.

@@TravelSzN Brilliant! Thank you very much for your response. I have no specific fear of heights beyond a normal human response that keeps you alive 😂 and I have some experience in rock climbing but none in VF. I am just trying not to be cocky and assume that rock climbing skills translate into VF climbing. Guess I’ll just join a group and have fun with it!

Very Cool! I was going to ask if you guys ever came across Ferrata in the US? I mentioned in a previous comment (another video) that I have been living in C Euro and have experienced Ferrata in several countries. I love this activity for multiple reasons and I hope to have some similar experiences when I move back to the US.

There is one in West Virginia, but we haven't tried it yet! I think there may be some out west/northwest as well. The via ferratas are so much fun!

I did this in the summer and the cliff part was worse than the bridge. I thought the bridge was gonna be the worst part but parts of that cliff were akward.
