I use a similar battery-operated motion sensor light, that came with that 3M tape, which I got from Home Depot maybe 2 years ago, inside my refrigerators freezer compartment. Many top freezer refrigerators do not come with a light in the freezer. Only in the fresh food compartment. It does not make a huge difference, but I rather like it - a lot, although it is backlit. I installed it on the inside wall that is opposite to the hinge, so I don’t get eye glare. As I just replaced by defrost timer and defrost thermostat on this fridge, which is probably 20+ years old, and I also ordered an extra shelf for the fresh food compartments and used fridge organizer bins to turn the extra shelf into a deli drawer, plus I use small bathroom suction cup accessories to add a bit more storage, I figured I would trick it out a bit more with the light. Although my freezer now stays at about -10, at least for the week that it’s been in there, the light and it’s batteries seem to function perfectly, which is more than I can say for the Quirky Spotter is stuck in there to monitor temperature and humidity, although the other works fine in the fresh food compartment. The light turns on pretty efficiently when I open the door. If there’s a bit too much in there, it may not be as apt to respond but, I know it’s not a “needed” light. It may be about 6,000 Kelvin so the light is appropriately cool as a freezer light and more so than the warmer colored 40W appliance bulb that is in the fresh food compartment, which I may replace with a cooler LED bulb, maybe even from the Dollar Tree.

Bought it today. Need 3 AAA batteries which are not included. Light is bright and smooth. Good for closet and wardrobe. ☺
Hello I got these today and was referred to this tutorial as I can't get the battery cover off on the 1 I got first yes turning the right way just stuck hard. Any suggestions
Question: I need to find a light I can tape to a window INSIDE pointing OUTSIDE to a very small area that is very dark. Do you think this will work? I have a prowler that tends to past this window area.
These have worked well and are pretty sensitive. I think it should do the job. You might need to test it out. As long as the window is clear I think it should work. It only does stay on for 15 seconds until it notices motion again.

How is the battery life? It will be interesting to know this for the different application areas.
Since this review in June we have been using them around the house. On if them is activated multiple times a night and it is still going strong 9 months later. I perceive that they will continue to last as the LED lights use little battery.

Brett do you have the white or warm white color led lights? Which has better light you suggest?
+Curtis Rathbun these are the white color. I prefer the white daylight look but many are use to the warm light as that is what lights have been for years.

repeated triggering function means when motion will continue in that time light will not be turn off it will stay turn on and when there will not any motion within 20s then will turn off.
if there have not this kind of function then you know about any kind of light have this kind of functionality then let me know.

Good question, it does not have this. It will turn off then you need to move again and it will turn back on.

It's better to put it beside the stairway when we are watching a movie. Conventional Lights are turned off when the movie is in session.
