Hello friends... 🇮🇳 i am perth Pure vibrant nature always attracts me.. I want to share with you some beautiful moments spent with nature.. Welcome to my new journey..😊
It’s so beautiful Simon this is one of the things I miss the most about Vietnam/home. Beautiful scenery fresh air awesome locals people to chill and drink beers with great organic food not like the city I miss it so much. Once again awesome video Simon.👏👏👍👏
Love you stumbling upon the statues/temples/pagodas etc. That's 1 of the main things I loved about being in Vietnam and Thailand, the way you can find the most wonderful and serene spots at random whilst blundering around lol. Also, gotta appreciate your bravery to stop at the bier hoi for us - always such a trooper taking 1 for the viewing team!
There are some places, like ends of canals where the dam is closed...that is quite disappointing to see. When the rice farmers are spraying their rice fields the packets of fertilisers are strewn along the paths between rice fields...that's also just bloody lazy!! But generally yeah it does look quite clean and tidy. When it's the holidays, people head out and trim the weeds along the edges of the paths in the village. Me and my family were doing it by the pond on National holidays in September. Rewarding work. Thanks for watching. Tell your friends! @vietnamvillagelife
✌ 😃✌ aha made me laugh did that "I used to be indecisive" Thanks Simon, agreed 40 minutes is perfect time, as you know it's all about the Pagoda's for me such fine art and detail and of course the monk's chanting.
Loved this one you never do a dull trip 😉 left or right ?? Those small villages have beautiful pagodas too . Glad you didnt disappoint us and you stopped at Bai Hoi on the way home .
This is really true since i lived in Vietnam countryside for like more than 15 years of my life Feel great, no traffic cars's dust, trees everywhere, very peacefully Btw live your videos, keep it up bro
Looks great ..Been / seen many villages in Vietnam as well as Thailand and beyond. Sad about current situation, better times ahead. After 24 years in SE Asia, ,6 years in VN .. shall make effort to return..2022
Hey James, thanks for watching mate. Yeah, each village has its own little bit of character and I love exploring...maybe being a bit nosey like 😳😂 Let's hope 2022 is the year. Cheers
Camera was attached to my wrist & I observe all around me unlike the Vietnamese. I'm also riding through sleepy villages during lunch and sleep time...hardly the M62 and causing problems....don't call me bro...I'm not.
Really beautiful villGe though not as rich as yours.Howeever I think a very rich village represent sudden flow of wealth that adds little to the characteristic of a typical villGe. I myself like old one or two storey houses with bare bricks or stones showing age mark on them. They represent a true rural village I hope you understand what I aspire to. Please more like this.Cheers!
Traditionally, each Vietnamese village has a chapel: Đình where they worship the Village Deity = Thần Làng (Thần = Holly Spirit. Làng = Village). I suspect that Phục Linh Pagoda was modified from the original Đình Làng. Few centuries ago they worshiped the Village Deity (their Ancestors) not Buddha. Evidence ? At minute 11:59 you can see above the Lady Buddha is an Eternal Cycle Wheel (symbolic on the Indian flag). However, there are 2 mismatched dragons that kowtow the Eternal Cycle Wheel (Vòng Luân Hồi) While in Buddhism the Eternal Cycle Wheel (also known as Metempsychosis) signifies for the cycle of: birth, suffering, death, & incarnation) Buddhism & Hinduism share many common trait in Metempsychosis & have nothing to do with the dragon that is a shared ethos of Vietnamese & Chines where Đình Làng culture was & still is very much prevailing in country sides of Vietnam. To express the prevailing Đình Làng custom, there is a VNmese maxim: "Lệnh vua thua lệ Làng" = The King decree shall yield to the Village Custom. I'd recommend a tour of Đường Lâm ancient village (Hamlet actually) only 15km from Hanoi centre (Ba Đình flag pole). Ba Đình: Three Đìnhs = 3 Village Pagodas ( long gone) Perhaps, Đình was the centre of all VNmese Village Culture.

It is very similar to my home country Bangladesh 💜💜🇧🇩
Thanks
Where at in Vietnam are these villages at?
We are located near nam Dinh City, around 90km south of Hanoi.
Vietnamese people look very much similar to Mizos from Mizoram, India
Is this in N. Vietnam?
Yes mate.
@@VietnamVillageLife Thank you 🙏
Ông Tây bà Đầm. instead of bà Tây
Đầm derived from Dame (in French) = Lady
