I can't stress enough how glad i am to see the return of a NORMAL tongue on a high-end football boot. It never needed fixing and its the best way to adjust the fit of the boot to the shape of your foot, period.

Hey how does this sizing compare to the copa 18.1? In here you mentioned you are wearing your usual 9.5 US while in the copa 18.1 you said you are wearing your usual 9 US. So what is your usual size exactly? Can i assume that i need to size up half a size from the copa 18.1 for this copa sense.1?
These looked unfinished, cheap, and like they didn’t put any effort on the development on those boots. All the hype towards the sense +. They could have put a full leather upper to provide a little more variation to the top model and to make up for those who want a full leather experience from the Adidas brand
I completely agree these don't look like they're worth £180 whereas I feel (although quality is usually poor) the sense+ look like they should cost £230
I dunno, part of me says that full leather on a "modern" boot is a paradox. Personally I believe if you want a leather boot there are heritage boots. The whole point with the Copa series is to fundamentally expand and modernise the Copa Mundial. I own several pairs of boots, these are really good. They initially feel a little clunky but I really like them. Think we will just have to see how they go out on the pitch. So far so good in imo

I was skeptical about the burrito tongue, but it feels and works fine, and of course the tongue can never be displaced since it's attached to the shoe on both sides. The shoe is very stable, has great traction, and has worn like iron. In fact, after 3 1/2 years of weekly use, the only material failure is that the fabric on the inside of the heel is starting to split along the top, and also the stripes have come loose. But the stripes aren't structural, just ornamental. They feel great, and you just forget about them while playing. I wish I had bought two pairs of them! I'm actually not thrilled about the changes in the Sense.1, but I'm getting them (on sale for $155 total) anyway, since they're the closest thing to the Copa 20.1, and I need a new pair. (I tired the Nike Tiempo Premier II, but they just weren't robust enough, and I tended to twist my ankles in them for some reason. That doesn't happen with the Adidas.) I have heard that that the new Adidas Pure.1 falls apart quickly. No thanks!

Reminds me a lot of the 11Pro formula in composition which as much as the leather was lacking I truly enjoyed so maybe these are worth a look for those that enjoyed the 11Pro models? I'll wait for them to go on sale to get a pair, but I'm intrigued at least. Seems to be miles ahead in the fit department compared to the previous models though.
Josh, if you were playing on AG what would you choose between the former Puma products? Puma One 19.1 Leather, 19.1 CC/Low, or the 19.1 Synthetic? I feel like the synthetic would be most durable against the abrasive surface. But if you choose a leather variation would it better just to go ahead and get the 5.1 or 20.1?

I have used them for a month and can also confirm that these are not very good boots. They don't feel like top-end. The touch is fine, but otherwise, I can't see any reason that why anyone should wear these over any Mizuno cleats or Tiempo Elite etc. A huge downgrade from Copa 20.1...

The synthetic model would be the most durable for sure, but my preference from the One 19.1 would be the lows.
