Is there something you think I should have bought? 🤪

So many amazing chairs! Also I think recognised the super tidy store with the scary shelves from when I visited last year. I miss Copenhagen! Thanks for taking us along your cosy thrift ride 💕

"We can still appreciate things, we don't have to own all of them." This is such a good thought, and I'm trying to adopt this mindset as well. Thank you for sharing your mindful thrifting experience

Thank you! It takes practice because we are used to wanting to own everything we like. 🫶

Thrifted or not, overconsumption is never charming :) You did great with that one cabinet!

I love what you ended up getting! I think it’s perfect and it’s exactly what you wanted. Also not over consuming is something great! I applaud your restraint. 😊

thank you for taking us with you in your videos! (watching your videos is such a lovely calm moment). The chair with the red leather looked cosy and caught my eyes :)

Don't be scared to drill into tiles (woman DIY amateur here)! It's one of the easiest way that something will hold, as it is rigid (unlike my crumbly Victorian walls which have been a nightmare to hang anything onto...). You can drill either into the grout (easier to patch up later if you/next owners remove the furniture you hang) or in the tile itself with a normal drill bit (just one of the bigger ones). Then insert a wall plug (plastic is fine). Ideally you want a wall plug that has a little edge resting onto the surface of the grout/tile, because there might be a gap between the tiles and the wall, and straight wall plugs might fall while you try to screw into them. Since this is furniture, use as many fixings and as strong ones you can find, and then screw sloooowly into your wall plugs. Should be fine! I hung small shelves in my shower this way, only with two plugs each, and because it is tile, the hole doesn't expand. Another advantage is that you can follow the tile pattern (if level) to hang your piece without making too many measurements. Hope this helps!

Super jealous! The thrifting is so good where you are. In my area it’s soooo hard to find anything good. And your hair is super nice and suits you well. I’ve also been cutting my hair for years as well!

Danes are known for their interest and appreciation of designer furniture so I think that helps 😌 Thank you so much! Such a nice skill to have!

The cabinet was the only thing I Said to myself “if she does not take it would be a shame” and you did so I’m happy, it is really unique and fits your style perfectly. If it does not fit your bathroom, I think you can totally have a cabinet in one of the walls near your bathroom that you only use for bathroom stuff.
Love your hair too, this is giving edgy Joan of Arc and this is one of the most stylish historic persona right ? 😉

Hihihi I love when you say that! I can’t think of a bettee comparison than an edgy Jeanne D’arc!! Good thing I got it! I can’t wait to hang it in my tiny bathroom. 😍❤️‍🔥

don't drill into the tile - drill into the grout between the tiles!

I was just going to say the same thing! This is definitely the best way and the tiles will keep everything in place.

It’s probably way too late, but one thing I’ve learned from my tradesman husband is to use bathroom sealant to put up shelves and other items on tiles. He applies lots of sealant, and for the first couple of days supplements it with plenty of tape. Then, wait until it’s been up for a week before applying any weight to it. I have shelves with heavy bottles on them all the time, no drilling. Love the channel.

No don’t buy something just to show. Looking with you was fun.
