What a player Neuer, Even though he made a silly mistake, he had a good match making crucial saves. And Coman also, in the wings he made so many chances, but cannot convert to goal. PSG played this season Barcelona's secret offside trap. So two headers from Bayern was called offside. Joshua and Olise have a good combination and giving dangerous crosses to the attacking third. For PSG Hakimi played very well in the wings. His creativity and pace is also essential for PSG. The midfield also played very good, especially Fabian and Neves. And Donnaruma also, he was a wall 🔥

He's already at 21 goals 20 assits on all competitions this season (41G/A in 62 games). He needs to improve yes but those stats are brilliant for a 22 y.o.
I predict he's going to continue to produce these numbers playing on the wings for two or three more seasons, and when he'll reach his maturity he will play false 9 like Dembele does currently. And I predict he will also know the same (if not even greater) jump in goals/assists stats as Dembele since Luis Enrique started playing him more central.
"Master the end product"... I mean he already is a top winger but I think he will reach his prime playing as a center forward, not on the wings. His trainers at Lyon youth academy have said in interviews years ago that he will end up playing more central instead of staying on the wings because he is very complete. And Luis Enrique as well has tried him there a few times (without great success but it will take some time).
Only condition is Barcola needs to stay with Luis Enrique and PSG.

    • @justinsm
      @justinsm 12 days ago +1

Absolutely, your statement captures the essence of a legendary match - one that transcends normal football standards. When a game contains everything - drama, injuries, red cards, dirty fouls, technique, tactics, quality, physicality, mentality, and energy - it becomes not just a game, but a football epic.
Comparing it to France vs Germany 1982 (World Cup Semifinal in Seville):
That game is still regarded as one of the most intense and emotional matches in football history - extra time, comebacks, brutal challenges (Schumacher on Battiston), penalty shootout drama, and two sides fighting with pure heart and national pride. If you're saying this PSG match felt like that, then you're describing something extraordinary, and you're not wrong to do so.
      PSG - Warriors Mentality:
Over the years, PSG was often seen as a “glamorous” club - heavy on talent, light on grit. But if in this match they’ve:
Fought like madmen against a strong opponent (e.g., City, Liverpool),
Shown not just technical brilliance, but physical sacrifice,
Played with 10 men, survived pressure, or pushed through pain and chaos,
Maintained their tactical shape under fire while emotionally charged,
…then yes - this is PSG as warriors, not superstars. This is a team that’s forged through suffering and steel, not just flair and funding. And that insane warrior energy can redefine how the football world sees them.

He's the best RB in all of football. The man hasn't taken a break in over a year. The Ligue 1 season starts in a month after the CWC. For his health, he has to take the entire month off because next season's schedule is going to be brutal, especially with the World Cup coming roughly a month after the UCL.
Harry Kane also has played a lot of football, when you consider the Euros being held last June and him playing now. With all these tournaments for club and country, the load on these players have to be overbearing. And now with the expansion of the Club World Cup and the reintroduction of the UEFA and Conmebol champions playing each other (Finalissma), that's even more football.

It's MILES better than the channels that put the final score up and I appreciate that but when I see the winning team's player in the thumbnail, well, I know who wins and I'm just watching to see *how* they won.
Cooler than knowing the score but it's still like telling me who wins at the end of a book but just leaving out the details. And surely it'd be cooler to both teams to feature a star player of the match from each side?

Yea, in my opinion, the biggest play of the game was Harry Kane losing the ball at midfield, and PSG scoring off his turnover. Kane had two teammates wide open running behind the defense. If Harry doesn't take the extra dribble, it would have been a 2v1, high scoring chance, they probably would have scored a goal there. Even if they don't score, it's 0-0. Instead, Kane was slow, takes an extra dribble, loses the ball, PSG counters, and BAM, it's 1-0 PSG

Harry kane is supposed to make differences thus he needs to be in the game.. Loosing the ball for Kane is normal as defense will try to oblitarate actions from him. The error is for those who are supposed to cover when kane looses the ball. Sorry but it cannot be opposed to kane...

One thing that is worth mentioning is 2 min before the end of the game, Dembélé asked the whole team to go on the offensive despite being down 2, Bayern was dominating the possession in the last minutes, and a small slip in PSG defense could lead to Overtime and likely a loss, instead of betting on their defense, like maaaaany other teams would logically do, the PSG team had the guts to fight, something that almost no other team would dare in the final minutes.
With Dembélé leadership, they produced one of the best plays of the year. World class.
