      i -ritical
      5 minute 2 days periods.
      If you are consistent profitable, you can commingle with 1 minutes chart for extremely scalping.

      thats the reason of why he can see so many trades, because if he wait for big moves he will not trade some days, you question is your own answer he trades a lot because the market dont move a lot, if he see a swing setup he will stop do many trades and pick the big moviment insteady of* do many scalp trades

    I like to to take 10-20 trades a day in the e-mini. People say you are over trading if you take more than 3 trades a day.I don't believe that.

      If you can be profitable doing that without losing your control like can be able to open positions again and again with solid objectivity over the market and without losing your cool and emotions then looks like you mastered it

    News are relevant, teamed with techs. If the euro is fking around at resistance and a short squeeze has run its course, and a key US speaker comes out and say "inflation is still too high", there is money in that. So everyone works differently

    Trading without any indicators is gonna blow you up. Patterns for sure is an absolute when it comes to confirmations but you need more than just one confirmation to execute a ton of trades a day

    I would like to thank all traders using indicators.
    If it wasnt of you, I wouldnt be trading for a living.
    95% of traders loose money; 95% of traders rely on indicators.
    So continue to be stubborn and keep on loosin...
    A millionaire trader never uses candle patterns, indicators, TP nor SL and never relies on a single timeframe.

      What do you use then? Any tips?

    • @guy9683
      @guy9683 9 лет назад +13

      eduardo castro My pleasure. First, I first make sure that the trend is clear in the following timeframes: H4, D1 and W1(yes, W1 !). Second, I wait untiil the price gets "out of the track" (price going down in an ascending trend) and then I still wait until it is coming back in H4 (it is called a correction). Sometimes, it can take a long time because I am trading big timeframes, but you can do it in smaller timeframes as well. But smaller timeframes are instable, so be very attentive. Some weeks I can cash everyday, but it is not always the case. You have to be very patient.. Good Luck.

    • @guy9683
      @guy9683 9 лет назад +9

      eduardo castro Also, keep your lots small !!! I use 0.01 / 1000$. So for a 851000$ account, I use 8.51 max. I could use more, but I would become very nervous because drawdowns are inevitables.

    • @Jackthebeagle44
      @Jackthebeagle44 9 лет назад +3

      +Guy Guerin wow great money management, I'm going to use those tips, so you don't use sl or tp? I always thought trading without them especially without sl is suicide?

    • @guy9683
      @guy9683 9 лет назад +14

      eduardo castro Idont need to since I trade with very small lots (that is the secret).
      I was tired of these crazy candles popping me out of the game, especially when they come back to where they were later !
      My lots were bigger and I had huge drawdowns. I had no choice but to close the trade with big loss.
      If your trend is clear, price will always come back in the trends track, unless it is a trend reversal.
      Even if a trade reversal occurs, you just close the trade with small loss and it doesnt make you cry.
      Keep in mind that a trade might last from a whole day to several weeks. Let them grow and resist to the temptation of cashing them too quickly !
