Absolutely love that Scale Trains now puts the sound slot configuration in the manual !! Save a lot of time figuring that out! Great engines in this run ! Great review as always too!!!
Nice loco James! Scaletrains and Athearn Genesis make the best locomotives on the market, I personally prefer the Athearn Genesis do to Tsunami2 sound I’m not a ESU fan.
probably 9 out of 10 models I review have low/high coupler height. I think it gets slightly offset in the design process or sometimes a coupler needs tightening or even loosening.
Well, the vandal deterrent on the Ferromex was new to me and a surprise. I hope you have your collection in an Excel or Calc spreadsheet and insured separately because it has to be vast plus worth many thousands. Once again great review and video, Jersey Bill.
I like how Mexico uses the same diesel locomotives like the us and canada because most Latin American countries uses Different gauges and different train couplers because Argentina and Chile use broad gauges with different couplers.
They're great looking locomotives, James! I've got a BNSF example from a previous run, and it feels every bit of that 1.7lbs. Haven't got a chance to put it to the test it's pulling power in a real-world scenario yet. That should change in about 2 months from now when the club fires up their annual October display, I let you know on the official numbers once that happens! By the way, the Ferromex one is probably my favorite, although you can't go wrong with a KCS "Grey Ghost" unit either!
I wish we exported Standard Gauge Diesel Locomotives to South America like Brazil Argentina Chile Colombia and Peru and make them use standard gauge locomotives and make them adopt AAR Knuckle couplers and drop all pin couplers and buffer chain Couplers. And drop meter and broad gauge and convert to standard gauge have them use that type just like their North American Counterparts and Chinese Counterparts and Australian & Australasian Counterparts do.
Hey, I know it’s not a question about the AC4400, but you presented the BLI S2 turbine and the BLI SP&S 700 not so long ago. Do these 2 locos also have a switch for the smoke unit like the BLI GS-4? Thank you for all the great videos even if they also do great damage to my wallet.
As always Great Review! Love my Zebra! Alot of people dislike the cages on the windows and windshield I think it looks Great adds character! Again Scale Trains does amazing work! What are your thoughts on the cages???
Imagine being a English engineer and all of the controls are spanish EVEN THE EMG BRAKE, All of the sudden you are not slowing down and ask the dispatcher “WHERE IS THE EMERGENCY BRAKE!??” And the dispatcher says its on the left side, it would be a bit bad, I might be wrong abt the EMG brake thing lol
I love your reviews; they are always so honest and complete.

Great share!
No excuse for low/high couplers. It should be a simple check before leaving the factory.

@@jlwii2000 Perhaps somebody should send a few Kadee height gauges to China? lol

Awesome video there Mr. James thank you for sharing this amazing review!!!!!
Wow that is nice looking I like the KCS

great review thanks
thanks for watching!
Awesome model....we appreciate ya.....the weakest part on the model is the coupler......the other details are great !!
thanks!
What do you think about the scaletrains ac44c6m?
I ordered several so hopeful they turn out well.

I'd have to go pull them from the shelf and look at them but if memory serves me correctly they did not.
@@jlwii2000 that would be sad as some Paragon3 had already a switch. I don’t get that inconsistent design by BLI than.
As always Great Review! Love my Zebra! Alot of people dislike the cages on the windows and windshield I think it looks Great adds character! Again Scale Trains does amazing work! What are your thoughts on the cages???
I think they did a great job on the model, the real life cages are a necessity and make the locos look interesting for sure.
@@jlwii2000 I agree 💯!
Will they on analog system DC an will they be ok on a S curve 22 inch
All 6 axles are a tight squeeze on 22 or less curves.
yes on running DC, two locos together on a 22 inch S curve would probably derail.
Yeah not fund or the new FXE paint scheme
I be leave they us to call that "ice skate antenna" a Sinclar antenna.
