Wow! I have to agree with you Rick... That's a first class Telecaster you've assembled! Looks great and sounds terrific! I like your thinking about the Musiclily parts, too... Not "cheap" parts, but very usable "inexpensive" parts. Glad to hear you like the GFS body, also. I'm about to build a very similar Telecaster to yours with a roasted Fender modern Tele neck and a GFS XGP butterscotch blonde body. I must say, seeing how well your Tele build turned out just makes me even more excited about getting started with mine! 😊👍👍🎸🎶✨️
El Guapo es realmente guapo. Can't go wrong with a Butterscotch Blonde Tele. And the pickguard works, even though you'd expect a blackguard on that. Nice, Rick.
Thanks, nice vid!! I put together and sold about 8 partscaster tele and strat guitars to working musicians. I used mainly Wilkinson products and some GFS as well. I used the ceramic and alnico 5's. wellllllllll every single musician i sold to honestly loved the guitars and said they sound great just like your hot Tele!! It amazes me of the snobbery from "youtube" experts who come down on ceramic pups. Wilkinson m series ceramic and alnico 5's sound fantastic for the money. A NYC guitarist told me that my strat partscaster which i sell for $300 sounded damn near as good as his $1,400 Fender Strat. But I use quality electronics and you are 100 percent correct GFS products are really good. Never had any trouble with microphonics though. i am subbing you to see more of your vids..thanks for being straight up and honest...quick note..have you noticed the verrrry smooth feel of the GFS pots when you turn the shafts?? take care!
I made a partscaster with Squier Thinline Tele body from Stratosphere and the same neck you have, Graphtec nut , Wilkinson bridge, used Ratio locking tuners and Fralin pickups. It's really lightweight and fun to play
Love this! I’m a tele guy. I will never part with mine. I actually just bought Wilkinson parts at musiclily to upgrade my glarry strat project. Awesome content! Subbed
This is a good instrument. I keep thinking that I am going to replace some of the parts eventually but I worry that it won't sound as good. Can't hurt to try. Thanks for watching and commenting!
It sounds really good. But. There is better brand than Wilkinson. It is Chinese Aliexpress brand Donlis. Those pickup are on pair with 200$ SD custom shop ones, but they cost 30$. FYI. Something like Toneriders, my favorite pickups of them all. Actually Donlis A5 PAF sounds like original Gibson PAF. No mud, harmonically rich.
There’s a difference in dead weight vs dispersed weight. Not every baby weighs that much, and said woman also gains weight from the moment of conception slowly until the day of birth, so in theory she slowly gets accustomed to the difference. Plus, weight isn’t the MAIN the that bothers them. It’s WHERE the weight is. Also, 9.8 weight gain is not really a big concern. And no I’m not talking about extra pregnancy birth. I’m talking about 9.8 lbs. the weight of the guitar. Nobody on this earth is going to die from gaining 10 pounds.
@@daveyrock6521 I was thinking of babies that are already hatched... sooner or later they all weigh that much before they become self propelled... and yeah, the womens don't carry them ALL day long either, I suppose...

Yeah Rick! That telecaster looks and sounds great! I want one! I think you can make almost any guitar sound good though! Great demo👍
Thanks Rusty!
The tele is very guapo. Sounds smooth like butter. Love the butterscotch finish, looks like butterscotch pudding. Mmmmmmm pudding. Now I'm hungry.
Sounds kinda mellow, until I plugged it into my AC-15 and it sounded bright, Bright, BRIGHT!! Thanks Dar.
those pickups sound great!
I think they are very good.

Wow thank you for sharing this.. Must be so helpful for people 😍🤎
Thanks Didar!
Sweet, real sweet!💚👍🏻
That Tele looks and sounds awesome Rick, great job man 😀🤘🎵🔥🔥🔥
I like it quite a bit, Adam. I play the heavy ass thing all day long and it sounds really good like a Tele should.

That's cool. I looked at Stratosphere. Maybe I should look again. Thanks Rax
That's a real nice Tele Rick 👍✌😎
It's not bad at all. I'm impressed that it plays really well. Like a Caddilac.

Thanks! I'm surprised at just how well this turned out. Thanks for watching and commenting and being cool.
Very Nice Rick..
Thanks dude. Any chance you could play this? ruclips.net/video/TxKwYvSLl8A/видео.html
10lb guitar!!! OUCH standing up LOL VERY KOOL and GREAT sounding guitar for sure!!!!!
Thanks Don!!
Man that sounds great! Thanks for sharing dude!
Thanks for watching EJ! Peace dude!
very cool. sounds great.
Thanks Eric. I'm kinda proud.
Did you do the comparison video
No. I forgot. This guitar now lives with my friend, Skippy at PGH LiveJamz. I can borrow it when I want.
Which music lily pickups are those called?
Do you know the difference between the alnico WOT pickups you have and the alnico WVT pickups I have for wilkinson?
I requested an answer to your question. I'll pass it on if I get an answer.
I really appreciate it! @@RickRomanelli
Pickups too close causes that thumpy leading edge on the tone. Back the pickups off a bit.
This guy can play a broom stick with one string and he’ll sound great😜
Haha! You think so? Thanks for watching Johnny!
Looks and sounds great but hey that would be heavy to gig!
Yes sir. Very heavy! Thanks Nic.
I have that same pickups from musiclily on my tele. what value of pots did you use for tone and volume for the pickups?
250 for both.
Why do so many of the inexpensive bridges whether Tele or tuneomatic seem to buzz or rattle?
Probably for various reasons.
Is body ash ?
Yes. Heavy as shit. Thanks for watching.
Sounds fantastic, looks cool. But 9.8lbs?! That's 1.8lbs more than my Les Paul!
It doesn't feel too bad for a short while. The body will go eventually and I'll get a different one.
Hehehe. I wasnt thinking of how cheap your parts were, i was merely thinking of how much more i paid for wiring harness and pickups than you had.
This is a good instrument. I keep thinking that I am going to replace some of the parts eventually but I worry that it won't sound as good. Can't hurt to try. Thanks for watching and commenting!

But they didn't send me pickups and ask me to make a video.
If womens can carry 9.8 pound kids around all day, you can carry a 9.8 pound guitar around for a couple hour gig...
Good news is that I don't have to carry either of those things.
