Im paying 2000 for a studio in nyc, bills not included, bums on the sidewalk, no beach, cold, crime ridden... i have to escape this year
I bet you making money
2 stacks for a studio is WILD. Couldn’t be me
thats wild i pay 609$ for a modern one bedroom apartment here in New Mexico and in the main downtown central area of the city 5 mins walk from the clubs etc place like this would be 5K-10K easy in the NYC .. and in a quiet area i live across the street from the fire department no ones fuckin around outside its pretty good.... glad i left NY in 2018 but im tryna get the fuck outta this country best believe .. it was never my home ...moved to the U.S 10 years ago from overseas and imma get the hell out this purgatory this place will never be it ever
Visit Brazil brother save don't take out those over expensive food
2k for the Stu?!
That’s a steal! 😂
Nah, I feel you . Stack up and leave that place.
Hell leave New York . That place is like being in an abusive relationship 😂
Great content! I love the beautiful people of Brazil. I purchased a property in Niterói. I mention your channel in my book Passport Bros.
I hope the current government expropriates residential properties from foreigners, at least that's what the far left needs to do well, just let the foreigners who generate solid jobs for the local people with their companies to own properties.
I know Niteroi is close to Rio but how close is it? How long does it take you to get to Rio? What's cost of living like in Niteroi?
@@jamesbond-xl3xs Depending on traffic, on average a bit more than a hour. You must cross the Pte. Pres. Costa e Silva bridge. Niteroi is nice. Cost of living less than Copacabana.
@@EtienneBraslSr Did you buy it legally?
@@EtienneBraslSr Thanks bro. Appreciate that.
I'll be there in 3 days... I get more and more hyped watching your vids.
Brazilian is just the most beautiful country on Earth. The cariocas and other Brazilians in general are just amazing people.
Since 1992 right after college never look back RS#1-- --✌💯
and one of the most violent as well 😂😂 crime rates through the roof
Not worth $2000 a month no cap .. $2000 in Salvador gets u a crazy spot
In my younger days Brazil 🇧🇷 was always on my list of places to travel to (DR was #1). That's because of the Brazil soccer team and the women who came out to celebrate their wins. I was damn...these Brazilian women are fine..I need to book a trip when I get older.
The King of Keeping it a Buck is back! Your last video was the standard. I see a Podcast in your future!
Let's make something VERY clear. I'm from Sao Paulo and what he's saying about RIO is true hahaha. But as he's also saying, he's in a good part of Rio where it's relatively wealthy.
Rio has 92 cities completely different from each other, neither this guy nor the Brazilians from the other states that hate us don't know anything about Rio.
I'm white European, people always tell me I should avoid Rio and the north, better to visit São Paulo and the southern states of Brazil
@@user-of5kc2fy9o You should only avoid the north of Brazil and Rio's city which is different from Rio's state, but please don't buy properties in Brazil to raise their prices even more for the local people, the good parts of Brazil are also facing a housing crisis and it's becoming impossible for the local people to afford housing due to the high number of refugees from Venezuela, Africa, Haiti and the huge increase of digital nomads coming from rich countries to take advantage of the country's low cost of living for themselves (not for the local brazilians) and also because brazilians tends to be more attractive and more gentle than the people from their home countries, according to themselves.
@@luisfernandor.pdealmeida1229 In five years, Brazil received around 350,000 Venezuelan immigrants. This number represents 0.16% of the Brazilian population. Foreigners have virtually no impact on the economy, unless we are talking about Chinese buying land or those 47% foreign investors who run the Bovespa stock market since forever. The social cost of immigrants in Brazil is irrelevant, despite all the far-right propaganda over social networks.
@@mattvideoeditor I didn't say Venezuelans alone but also Haitian and African refugees plus the digital nomads from rich countries, of course almost all refugees and digital nomads will go to the southeast and the south raising the prices in those regions, none of them will live in the north.
Going to Brazil in June cant wait.
The Coca-Cola in Mexico is made with real cane sugar and it's FIRE! I'm guessing the cola in Brazil is made the same way .
Been following you for a long time. Really love your content keep on keeping on.
Bro, dropping some gems. Been following you for a minute. Definitely going to have to get on your Patreon.
Brother got to go on a trip to make sure you not dreaming in a false reality in Brazil !🤣….You said no lies. I’ve been to Europe and a bunch of other places, and I’m ok not ever going back. Brazil only gets better every year. If you know you know!🤷♂️🇧🇷 …amazingly beautiful women all over Brazil -Rio just most popular destination.
$2000/m for beach front rental. That very good. Plus it's a popular beach internationally. I don't think people understand. My current rent is $1300/m but with high cost of living in USA. I bet both our budget are about the same at the end of the month minus the sugar baby fees and our pretty budgets.
Everybody keeps justifying $2000 a month just because it's on the beach. The whole point of traveling to a developing country is for low cost of living, not higher, lol. That price defeats the purpose and beaches come a dime a dozen. He enjoys close proximity. Is dude too lazy to ride a taxi to the dam beach🤷
The way the wind blew off one of my AirPods the minute he started talking about UK weather 😂
I'm coming back on the 19th of this month for 2 months! I really had a great time during Feb that i'm making a return 🔥🔥
On time Skylar! Keep talking about the economics in Brazil so people can learn. Your information is great.
Your speaking 100% facts and this is coming from an OG...
Seems like a really nice spot...busy and crowded though, Copa Cabana is very heavy with tourists.
I’m a Louisiana resident. Good to know you’re a fellow Louisianian my brother
Bom dia Skylar.
I have been to Rio 5 times and every time I came back to the states I was depressed for a month. I always got a hotel in the Ipanema beach area. I haven't been back since 2015. I am thinking of going again soon, as an old man I know the women there make you feel young (laugh). In my opinion only the cities of L.A. and New York come close as far as the women. One thing is if you are going to Rio, you really need to know some Brazilian Portuguese, it will make your stay much easier. Very few Brazilians speak English. I speak Spanish and Brazilian Portuguese, if you are a Spanish speaker they will understand you for the most part. Keep making the videos. Maybe you could tell us how you got your apartment.
Agreeed!! Lol I will be there the last week of March before the big Visa requirements.
Appreciate the info. God willing I be there next week, maybe we could get together and chop it up
Weather can play a big factor in your health💎💎💎🫡
Fully agree ✅
Also to add the soda here in Brazil they use sugar from the sugarcane they have here in Brazil so it’s more natural
I 100% agree. That's why in Rio too!!!
When you said find your country, I have certainly found mine. I'm just in preparation mode now (making money, learning the language, etc.). I'm also thinking about future family when I get there. Japan is the country.
Great choice. Safe. Clean. Stable. I hear it's more expensive but that could be good. Language is considered one of the most challenging to learn too but again that's a good thing in a way.
Only thing I'll take pause with is the food. Herb, spices, seasonings are natural flavor enhancers when cooking so restaurant food shouldn't be bland lol.
But that is a minuscule complaint. I can add my own salt n pepper lol
I agree with what you sayin
What's up bro? I'm a veteran as well and was born in Monroe. What part of Louisiana are you from? Definitely in the process of preparing to retire overseas in a few years.
Have you tried Duolingo or Rosetta Stone?
BEST Place on Earth Brazil
It's the best to you if you never been anywhere else
2K a month better get me a 3 bed/2 bath house, not a fire trap apartment.
Brazil is my Country Home Sweet Home So Epic !!!! 😅😊😂
Good Choice Because Brazil is the Truth
Have you been to other parts of Brazil like Salvador, Natal, Brasilia, Porto Alegre, Florianopolis, etc.?
Been here in RJ for 8 days I can confirm he’s correct on all counts. The only beach I’ve been in was Ipanema. However I saw more good looking women at Lapa during the weekend.
I cannot stand over salty food..
Miami and the Caribbean have hurricanes while Brazil rarely has them.
NFL is coming to Brazil and Brazil has American Football teams.
it is funny now brasilians are coming to colombia like never before
I actually thought for a second about moving, I’ll be in Brazil in May, link up brother 🫡
I like Brazilian women more than Colombian women because at least in Medellin, the women there were trying to get in your pocket, and it's potentially more dangerous to date in Colombia.
Same
I find Brasileiras more attractive overall, better personalities and vibe
The exception would be Afro Colombianas, black girls from Colombia, they rival Brasileiras in beauty and personality
Thank you for the content” but Europe will be my Promise Land.
I absolutely Love European Tall white Women” I love that’s Snow ⛄️ white Pal skin 👸🏻👑👑
Skylar: Does your apartment have a washer and dryer? For the bathroom is it ok to put toilet paper in the toilet and flush?
🔥🔥🔥
Hey bruh imma be in Rio de Janeiro in 2 months. Let me know what I can bring for you as a care package 📦
Skylar how can I get consultation
E-mail contact@voyatic.io
I love Colombia, but I have yet to visit Brazil and the Philippines before I choose my country 😊
Phillipines much cheaper access to all southeast asia
Have you been to other parts of Brazil?
No lies told in this video, but damn.
Is Mardi Gras like Brazil's Carnival?
yeah without the thousands of sexy women 😂 But no it's not the same experience. You need to experience the overall vibe in Brazil not just during Carnival times. I'm in Rio now,
Whats the social life like for someone who isn't fluent in Portuguese?
The social life is good even if you don't speak Portuguese as the Brazilians are very warm people for the most part. It gets better the more you understand the language (Portuguese) and the culture.
Pros pros and more pros that’s all who will put up with you 😂 jk learn the language and study and practice daily cariocas are patient if they know you are taking it seriously by learning the language and culture
Brazil is a vibe even if one isn't chasing skirts or doesn't speak much or any Portuguese. The energy is crazy.
@@timothyoreilly6675yes but outside the tourist areas how much socializing you think you'll be doing without Portuguese
@@scraw3 Not much, but then again you don't need to go outside of the tourist areas. Stick to the South Zone (Zona Sul) i.e. Leme, Copacabana, Ipanema, and Leblon and Downtown (Centro) and you'll be fine.
Never been to Brazil but I know the women their are gorgeous, the country I picked to live permanently is Panama city panama, I vacation their every year since 2009.. I LOVE PANAMA CITY, for all the reasons you love Brazil..GOOD JOB 👍🏾
How about Salvador?
Check out VibinwithFred. He is down there. Very afro place that seems to have it's own special vibe.
I need to escape
Skylar: What about mice and roaches?
If you get a decent Airbnb you’re good. I don’t see rats crawling around in RJ like ever
MT im aware of your love for modern living in a trendy city, but inflation can negatively impact your expenses one day. Real financial freedom will come when you live off grid in some Brazilian village. You can be self sufficient and cease spending all your money while renting a apt in rio.
Everything he says is true. It is getting harder and harder to stay in america
Idk Skylar you lived in the UK and they have some of the hottest girls on earth. Women from all over Europe living in the UK and London! I saw a lot of average women in Rio also
The food in Whole Foods ain't even healthy no more since Amazon bought it. It's just expensive AF for no reason
We paying for it by watching his videos the RUclipsrs never say that lol it is what it is the only good thing it’s expensive to come there no weekend warriors so people are got coming like that
There is more to Brazil than Rio.
Are there tatto artists or caricature artists there? If so Im adda here 😂
The amount some of you guys pay in rent in the States can have you living like a king overseas 🌎 . Don't let these miserable men and women try to keep you behind. Expand your options
You have more income in the states
@@josephrelaford6826 I'm referring to the cost of living. You can live in a penthouse Loft aboard, for the amount of money people spend on rent state side. Something to think about 🧏🏾♂️
God willing when I become financially strong 💪 I will pay 💰 Rio De Janeiro a visit. I would not mind dating women from Brazil 🇧🇷 because they are very attractive and very sexy also very beautiful women. I must give them respect. ✊In America rent cost more. How hot is Brazil 🇧🇷? I don’t speak Portuguese. How can I learn Portuguese? I like soccer ⚽️, auto racing, and baseball ⚾️. Gas and electricity are not included in my rent. I really wished I met you in person years ago. I never traveled 🧳 outside of the United States 🇺🇸. I am shy ☺️ around women because I have been hurt 😔 by game playing ladies because considering me as nothing due to the fact that I am on disability and disabled. I would like to live near the beach in Brazil 🇧🇷.
None of those reasons really make any senes at all when you compare Brazil to the Philipines unless you just prefer the appearance of Brazilian woman, but otherwise the rest of the information isn't very practical.
Beach women and cost of living is hardly surprising 😂
14:57 I gotta disagree with you on this..... There are some fine women ( and in shape) in Texas.... Cant totally discount american women ....
But i do get your point tho... I think the mindset of most cariocas is fitness... and theres the difference
Other than that ...great video 🔥🔥
Yeah Texas women "Look Good". But the Westernized Attitude is what turns me off.
@@javonkelly4996 Facts 💯
That because there is reverse migration going on. Lot of women from Latin America and over the world seeking asylum in USA
I wouldn't identify as a passport bro anymore brotha, too many pookies hijacked the term and stained the name.
