I don't know who all GOD called you to preach to but I know he called you to speak to my soul, my mind and my heart! I mean all corners and all sides of it too. GOD knows just how to do it too. Because every teacher and/or preacher can grab my attention and focus. I can't help but give 100% attention because Smokey Norful's "style" of preaching is exactly what I like. He keep it REAL and don't cut no corners! Um, we NEED that tough love, constructive criticism. Because sometimes we need to check ourselves. He adds comedy and make the congregation laugh. Sometimes I scream with laughter. He go old school & new school. I like the old school, I was born in the early 80's. He make it personal with touching on issues we all have been through. He is so humble and teach us to be humble. I like how he is repetitious with key information we need to think about and hear. How many times you were in class and the teacher go over something and don't give you time to find the page in the textbook? I bet Smokey was an excellent teacher because he made sure there was,"No Child Left Behind". I like how he acknowledge the people watching online and live far far away and not just the people in the room. I like how the teacher in Smokey comes out in his preaching too. GOD knows who to call to teach his word in styles that would grab certain audiences. So there's no excuse why we can't tune in and hear his word being taught/explained/broke down so that we understand. Because we can't lean to our own understanding. So I appreciate Pastor Norful whole heartedly. I hope he continue to keep on, keeping on being obedient and preaching/teaching us the word so we continue to grow and live how GOD expect us to. I think he was BORN for this. Please keep incorporating your singing voice in your sermons too. I'm talking about the old school gospel songs. Like the Thank You Lord song that was sung. To hear everybody in the background singing along with you was awesome. The harmony was very good. I was singing right along with y'all. Taking me back to my childhood days of going to a Pentecostal/Holiness/Apostolic churches 3-5 days a week. Thank You Pastor/Singer Smokey Norful! I thank GOD for you and I pray he keep you healthy/well and the ability to keep doing this awesome work of GOD for all of us who tune in. I'll be looking for the next sermon on Sunday.
I do have a generous heart for God . I have lost some friends due to the fact they are not appreciative of my gifts. Therefore I’ve regenerated my gifts yo ways more appreciated. My time is valuable.
I've been practicing Seed-Faith for sometime now. I've learned that. "Without giver's, there are no receivers". That you can give without loving, but you can't love without giving. Recently I had the experience of over flowing blessing. It scared me because I couldn't understand why this was happening to me. Until I had to remember that God was a rewarder, and if I've done something in His name. That even if it was just a glass of cold water to someone. It would be a blessing. God has made me a blessing so that I can bless others. So I give from my heart. When I am able. Thank you Father.🙏🤓
